Ep. 39: Adventure

DAY 2 OF 7

Today, our adventure will start at 10AM in the morning. I and Simon would try parasailing. Hindi namin makakasama sina mommy at ate since they're both afraid on heights. Well, i do the same pero Simon gave me such words reasoning for me to trust and try new things. Maaga kaming nagising ni Simon ngayon, around 7AM i guess? Pero we still need to wait since 10AM pa ang bukas ng mga activities dito sa Subic. Lumabas na muna kami at kumain ng breakfast, nagulat kami parehas nang makita naming tulog pa sina mommy sa kabilang kwarto. On usual days kasi, sila talaga ang nauuna saamin lalo na't napaka bagal kong kumilos. Hehe, you know? Girl thingz.

"You must try this, Janna." Simon ordered as he pierced the kappi using fork while we're facing each other on a table near the beach. Kappi is an ilocano word means "alimango". Since birth kasi hindi ko na talaga trip ang lasa ng alimango or talangka or alimasag or kung ano mang tawag nila dun basta para sakin crab yon. At alam ni Simon yun, so he is forcing me to try this.

"No." I refused as i covered my mouth with my both hands.

Simon gave me a deadly stare, "How would you suppose to overcome your fear and try new things if you're always like this?" He stood up and went beside me.

"Okay, sorry." I looked down, i looked away. Avoiding to look at his eyes.

Simon sigh deeply and cupped my face, "Hey, look at me, Janna. I just want you to learn to overcome things you didn't want to try. Hmmkay?"

I looked at him with my puppy eyes and pouted, felt cute somehow hihi. "Masarap ba yan?" I said pertaining to the food he was handling while waiting for my mouth to open.

Simon smiled and nodded.

"Promise?" I added.

Simon replied as he looks at me. "Promise. Say ahhhh?"

I slowly opened my mouth and ate what Simon gave me. He stared at me as i chew and waiting for my reaction.

"Hmmm.. This is good huh?" I widen my eyes and looked at Simon.

He smiled, satisfied to my reaction, "Really? You're not joking?"

I giggled, "Of course i'm not."

We continued eating and that 7AM breakfast turned into 10AM which we both didn't realize because of our chikahan. It's already 10AM, the activities here in the beach opens one by one. Mom and ate Jere are also awake, following us to the cottage.

-TIME SKIP-

"Ready naba kayong mag asawa?" Wika saamin noong kuyang staff doon sa parasailing adventure.

Simon coughed. I giggled, "Hindi po kami mag asawa kuya, we're just friends lang po."

The shockness drew on kuyang staff's face. "Hala talaga po? Pasensya na po."

I and Simon just smiled and nodded at him signaling forgiveness. Few minutes later, we got into the boat and went near the middle of the ocean and now we're about to start parasailing.

"Shet! Wait lang kuya, natatakot po ako." Sigaw ko habang nakahanda na kaming lilipad ni Simon.

I felt Simon's hand went on my waist as he's making me feel strong and not to be afraid. I whispered, "Thanks!"

"Okay na po ba maam?" Tanong ni kuya habang naka ready na na paliparin kami sa ere ni Simon.

Simon looked at me, "Ano, kaya mo na?" Saying it with his cute tagalog accent again.

I couldn't help but to burst into laugh, ang cute ng accent ni Simon punyemas. I looked at him as well, "Y-yes?". I signaled kuya to let go of us para makalipad na kami.

Biglang nawala ang kaluluwa ko nang bitawan kami ni kuyang staff at lumipad sa ere. Tila bang naiwan ang kaluluwa ko sa bangka. Nakapikit lang ako dahil hindi ko kayang dumilat, gagi nakaka lula kaya.

Simon teased me, "Open your eyes, kiddo."

"Shut up!" I said as i was still closing my eyes.

~SIMON'S POV~

I was staring at Janna while her eyes are still closed. Looking at her perfect eyes, nose, lips, everything about her. I can't help but to simp for her even more as day goes by. I told her to try to open her eyes and she slowly obliged.

"1.. 2.. 3.. Open your eyes." I whispered to Janna.

"Wow!! This view is really amazing! It's so pretty i can't!!" I saw the genuine happiness on Janna's face. And it made me turn on even more.

I stared at her, "Just like you.."

It seems like she didn't heared it, good thing. We just enjoyed parasailing and we noticed mommy i mean tita and Jeremiah watching us. We gave them a wave with a big smile.

-TIME SKIP-

"Did you enjoyed it?" Simon asked me as we're heading towards our cottage.

"Yeah!" I answered as i am catching my breath.

"Oh magpahinga na muna kayo." Saad ni mommy saamin ni Simon. Umupo muna kami at nagpahinga sa cottage. Kumain lang din kami ng lunch with mommy and ate Jere. They have their own adventures daw mamaya, they invited me including Simon but i declined.

~SIMON'S POV~

I carried Janna from the living room on the transient house we've checked in towards our room. She fell asleep there while i and her mom together with her sister talking about random things. Usual chikahans, like what Janna's always telling me. I put her down the bed and place the blanket above her body. She's so gorgeous. She was wearing maong shorts with a simple white shirt tucked in partnered with her beach sandals. I removed her sandals and place it somewhere. Of course, i can't change her clothes so that i left it in. I sat on the couch and watched Janna sleeping peacefully. I frowned when i heared her talked while still asleep, "Thanks, Si!" I just giggled and replied as if she was hearing me still, "Not a problem, Janna." Few moments later, i'm already feeling sleepy as i watched Janna sleeping for 30 minutes straight. I can stare at her not just 30 minutes, but forever. I slowly went beside Janna and sleep. Nothing happened, we just sleep.
