(Chapter 22) The Kyoto Mission

"Fujimura boy?
Fujimura boy wake up!"

Takeo was sleeping under a tree and after a long night.
"Please Anniki!
Just a little more!"

Arashi was standing near him and was trying to wake him up.
He was surprised that Takeo thought he was his brother.

Arashi smiled and pushed him a little.
"Being lazy wouldn't do anything good."

Takeo opened his eyes and looked at Arashi and was embarrassed.
He bowed immediately.
"Murasaki-san!
I apologize for my behavior!"

Arashi started to laugh lightly.
"No need to apologize.
And actually you can call by my name."

Takeo looked at him happy.
"Okay than feel free to call me by my name too!"

"That is better!
And now we should head to the Main Wisteria House."

Takeo got up.
"I hope we can find some good information about demons there."

So Takeo and Arashi headed to their destination.
It has been a week since Takeo came to Kyoto with Arashi.
Many things to explore and many demons to fight but firstly Takeo was focused on Arashi.

The Kinoe prodigy who acted weird at first with Takeo but now seem to come close to him.
Many question about him filled Takeo's mind but he was sure after some time that Arashi is a reliable person and a good comrade.
After some days Takeo started to open
to him and told him about his past.

At the Main Wisteria House...
Arashi started to support Takeo on his journey after finding resemblances in their goal and ambitions.

And something that was bothering Takeo was now revealed, Arashi is a Thunder Breathing user and the Water Breathing he tried to use when he met Takeo was just a joke to make him confused as Arashi himself stated.

Arashi and Takeo entered the house who was full of demon slayer who were resting and discussing together.
As soon as they stepped all the people there started to look at them.
They were all happy to see Arashi as his reputation within the Corp was huge and everyone respected him.

But they were shocked to see that Takeo was near him.
That was when the whispers started.

"Is that the guy who killed his comrade?
The Vicious Slayer!
What is a guy like him doing near Murasaki-sama?
Is he doing a 'Kōsei' ?"

Takeo could hear them and felt frustrated and lowered his head and Arashi noticed it.
They continued to walk until someone noticed Arashi and ran ta met him.
"Murasaki-san it has been a while since you came here the last tim..."

As soon as he saw Takeo his smile disappeared.
"Can I ask you why is he- "

"Who?!
For who are you talking about?!"

The way everyone treated Takeo started to bother Arashi a lot, not only cus he knew Takeo well but because this isn't fair in the fist place.
Takeo didn't want to talk and just stayed silent trying to avoid looking at anyone.
The other Demon Slayer was surprised by Arashi.
"The guy behind you!
You know what he has do- "

Arashi suddenly placed his hand at Takeo's shoulder.
"I don't know what are you talking about!
I only see a normal boy trying to survive in such a trashy society."

Takeo was surprised and looked at Arashi who winked his eye at him.
"I see a comrade!
A fellow Demon Slayer."

Arashi looked at the Demon Slayer.
"Tell me who do you see?"

The Demon Slayer was surprised and he didn't know what to say.
"A Demon Slayer."

"Good!"

Arashi then turned at everyone else who was hearing him.
