calvin asked as keith walked into the apartment.

calvin and kari stared at him speechless as he stood in front of them,sporting his new haircut.

"i made a mistake,with beautiful."
was all he said as he stepped into the kitchen getting a water.

"yeah,that's not the only mistake you made."
kari said as they both continued to look at him in shock.

"i didn't mean to yell and cuss at her but i didn't know what else to do. i know i could've been a little nicer about it but it frustrates me. she shouldn't be with a son of a hitch like Derek,she should be with-"

"you?"
calvin asked.

"precisely."
he said, taking a sip of his water.

"okay so if she deserves better,and you can offer that,then why not go for it-"

"it's too late,i fucked up. she's gonna hate me now."
he shook his head.

"we don't know that, all we have to do is come up with a plan."
kari said,getting up from his seat and going to stand next to keith.

"beautiful is usually pretty forgiving-"

"yeah but,i was an asshole to her. i don't think that's forgivable."
he stated,taking a seat at the counter.

"well,you like beautiful right?"
he asked.

keith shook his head.
"please don't start this bullshit-"

"aht! see,that right there is your problem,you don't know how to express your feelings. you need to learn how to communicate."
kari stopped him.

"now i'm gonna ask again,do you like beautiful?"
he asked.

"yes,a lot."
he stated.

"and you wanna get closer to her,and potentially date her,right?"
he asked.

keith nodded as he sipped his water once again.

"okay then,all you have to do now is give out a genuine apology,and then admit your feelings."
he nodded.

"what if i get rejected. i don't even think she likes me like that. and even if she does,don't you think it's a little early? considering the whole Derek thing-"

"you guys don't have to get together now or anything. but admiring that you have feelings for her is definitely the first step."
kari let him know.
