His Obsession
Chapter 14

"What the hell!" I yell at him. I push him away from me. "What do you think your doing?!" I ask him as I narrow my eyes at him.
He kissed me. All that Alex does is smirk. "For months, I've had to watch you and see your beauty and your strength. At first I thought I was going insane but then I knew that I had been attracted to you all this time" He says to me.
I push him away even further as I start to walk the hallway. "You're right. You are insane" I tell him and walk towards the exit.
A hidden exit which will insure me that no one will be waiting for me. I don't have any weapons on me to fight. I hear that Alex is following me but he doesn't speak.
That's a good thing. This is far more messed up than I thought it would be. I walk the hallway, careful to go the spots where no one would be able to see me.
One thing did help me while living here and that are the hallways that people take and what hallways they avoid taking.
This mansion is like a maze. There are two or three or more ways to reach the same place and the quickest paths are usually the ones people take.
While the longer ones are... well, longer, at least they show that so few take them. They are cleaned like all the other hallways and the maids will clean them.
No maids nor anyone will be going these hallways, that I know because at a first sign of trouble. Like shooting, they hurry to get out of their and the guards and the men use the quickest paths to get where they want to go.
"Why did you do that?" I ask Alex as we walk through the empty hallways. He walks beside me. It makes me feel uncomfortable but there is nothing that I can do about it.
He chuckles. "Kiss you or kill our common enemy?" He asks me. I send him a glare. It's like this, all of this is nothing more than a game to him.
"Both" I answer him in a dark tone. Once again he chuckles. This really is a game to him. He doesn't care. "I told you. I'm attracted to you and now that I've tasted the sex, I'm not going to back down. As for our enemy, that was the plan. Just not the plan Xavier came up with" He tells me.
It's like I'm seeing another Alex or maybe I'm just seeing the Alex which is really him. I eye him as we reach the door which so few know of.
"I choose to be with Xavier. I fucked you to keep the cover. It was nothing more than a meaningless fuck to sell my part. If you thought that meant something, then you're wrong" I tell him.
Then I open the door and enter the world.
