In Manhattan, Lauren creates a new life for herself.
She gets herself an apartment, one all to herself.
With the money she has left, and fortunately the money Tony left her, she's able to afford Manhattan.
With a paper bag in her hands, she walks out of the elevator of her apartment and walks into her new home.
She sets down the groceries in the kitchen and washes her hands to prepare the food.

She boils the water and adds the pasta, then chops up an onion, mushrooms and tomatoes to mix along with pesto sauce.
Lauren pours herself a glass of wine, then walks into her living room and takes a seat upon the soft white couch. She turns on the TV and relaxes as she eats her food and drinks her drink.

Once her stomach is full, she sets the empty bowl down on the coffee table in front of her. She picks up the remote to change the channel, but feels a spark flow through her hand. She drops the remote, then looks up at the TV. Her eyes widen as the picture registers in her mind.
On the TV plays a black and white sitcom.
Staring Wanda Maximoff.
Lauren looks at the TV in disbelief. She watches as her friend and co worker parades around as a 1950's house with... with her dead husband.
Her mind wonders, but she knows that whatever she sees isn't real. It's all a deception.
Lauren stands up from the couch and slowly approaches the TV. She brings her fingers up to the screen where she feels the vibrations. Once her fingers make contact, she's drawn into a trance like state.
She feels herself being transported, transported to the TV.
Transported to Wanda Maximoff.
Her consciousness enter Wanda's mind, and Lauren is able to see what Wanda sees.
"Wanda?" Lauren asks.
Her voice echoes through Wanda's mind, and she freezes. Wanda's mind tries to register the source of the voice. The familiar voice.
The trance soon ends, and Lauren feels as though she was pushed out of Wanda's mind. But not before she saw one key detail. A sign.

Lauren opens her eyes and takes a deep breath. She removes her hand from the TV screen. Her eyes glow gold and the TV turns off. Her head turns to the coffee table, her eyes glow once more and the dirty dishes disappear.
She walks to her bedroom, and the lights instantly turn on when she opens the door.
Into her bathroom she goes to wash her face and brush her teeth. She gazes into the reflection of the mirror as she brushes her teeth with minty paste.

She spits out into the sink and then wipes her mouth clean.
Lauren walks back to her bedroom where her bed summons her like a magnet.
