Sorry I went away for a week and work has been crazy-
Have the next chapter, and Happy New Year!
(f/f) = favourite flavour
Sonic walked quickly through the streets now, grateful that there wasn't a person in sight to slow them down by asking for an autograph. He knew just how selfish fans could be, and he didn't want (Y/N) to face that sort of problem right now, especially with her condition. The (a/t) was currently resting against his chest, her eyes were closed, as if she was asleep. He was now holding her in a way that he could feel her heartbeat through her back just to make sure her condition didn't get worse. He just hoped it didn't put her in more pain, though she seemed settled and relaxed.
The hedgehog wasn't sure where the hospital was in this city, but he had some pretty smart friends that he knew would be able to help. He just hoped they were still open and able to take the two in. He had to admit to himself, he wasn't planning on taking this long to arrive to the place, it just sort of happened. He loved talking to (Y/N).
Finally, he stopped outside a large museum. The front lights were still on, lighting up the building in an ominous orange glow. A sign stood out front, small white lights illuminating the silver lettering:
'Green Town Museum'
"We're here." Sonic smiled to himself, nudging the (a/t)'s head with his own gently, since he didn't want to shake her.
The (f/c) (a/t) stirred, lifting her head slowly to stare at the museum. She tilted her head in confusing, staring up at the large building. Many questions went through her mind, considering it must be late by now, it was surprising that the place was either still open, or that staff were still present. She also wondered why they were at a museum when a hospital would be better suited.
She glanced at Sonic's face, his expression seemed a tad nervous, like he knew what she was thinking, and she realised he probably wanted to avoid as many people as possible; assuming a hospital was up and running by now.
"I have some friends that run the place." Sonic explained, giving a small smile, "They usually keep it open late in case of an emergency, especially after the war. I met them not long after we won actually."
He walked the two up to the entrance of the museum, gently sitting the (a/t) down before rapping his knuckles against the glass. Two shadows moved deep inside the building, and soon a silver and grey striped lemur stuck her head out from around a corner. Her ears perked up when she spotted the blue hedgehog, and she bounced over to the door, pulling it open.
"Sonic! Didn't expect to see you here." She said, leaning on the door. Her voice was loud, energetic. Her purple eyes then shifted to the (a/t) sitting against the other door, her arm back around her torso, "Who's this?"
(Y/N) looked up at her, taking in her orange and black attire. She had orange tape wrapped around her hands and wrists, wearing a black leotard with an orange line down the sides of her legs. The leotard disappeared under a yellow crop top. She had a long tail, that moved quickly, grabbing Sonic's hand and shaking it while she asked the questions.
Sonic gave an awkward chuckle and rubbed his head, explaining the event of the past night, and that the (a/t) was in a bad shape. The lemur turned her attention back to the (a/t), now seeming more alert. (Y/N) couldn't help but wonder what was going on as the stranger called out to someone else, before telling Sonic to help get her inside.
The blue hedgehog nodded, once again picking up the (a/t). She groaned in pain, yelping as he accidentally bounced her to get a better hold.
"Sorry..." He mumbled, his ears lowering slightly.
