y/n's POV

Today was the day y/n had been waiting for.

She went her calendar and screamed in joy and she crossed off the day.

Yamaguchi knocked on her door.

"Sorry..."

Yamaguchi went back into his room avoiding the boxes scattered around as if they were mines.

Today was y/n's date with Iwaizumi.

She had been waiting for this since they had first locked eyes.

She skipped to the bathroom took a shower and got dressed. She put a ribbon around her hair and exited her room.

As she went to the kitchen the smell of pancakes became more and more prominent.

"Morning Yamaguchi,"

He turned around for a second to smile at her before flipping the pancakes.

"y/n-san I told you to call me tadashi."

She placed her elbows on the kitchen table and rested her chin in her hands.

"Yeah, but I think Yam-chan is so much cuter."

Yamaguchi froze up for a second. y/n laughed at his reaction.

He served her a place of pancakes with a cup of syrup. She dug into it immediately.

"So, are you excited?"

She knew what he was talking about but tried to play it cool.

"Nope." She popped the 'p' as she looked away from him.

"Then why were you screaming this morning?"

She gave up the act.

"Okay! You got me; I'm totally excited."

She giddily kicked her legs in the air.

She interlocked her hands with Tadashi and looked him in the eyes.

"I feel like we are finally making some progress. Who knows we might end up dating, buying our own house, getting married, having 3 kids and being together forever."

"Calm down Miss Romantic," she rolled her eyes.

"Let's get through today before you start thinking of anything else. Who knows? You may not like him as much as you thought you did."

"How could I not like Iwa? I like everything about him. Maybe not the fact that he can be a little dense but we move."

She looked at the time.

"I have to go Tada-kun."

She put on her coat and her ate another pancake before walking to the bus stop.

On her way she hummed a song and had a little skip in her step.

She knew today would be a good day.

The bus stopped for her and she got on, saying good morning to the usual driver.

Today felt good.

She was so early she didn't have to run into work like she always did.

Everyone she passed she greeted with a big smile on her face.

She sat down at her seat and took off her coat.

She turned on her computer and logged on.

As it was logging, on she dreamt about her ideal date.

They had food. Confessed their feelings for each other.
