The street was busy as Cassie stepped through the portal, the sounds of New York City filled her ears almost immediately. She looked around at where she was, the pedestrians walking by not even batting an eye as she came through the portal. This is a promising start, she thought herself.

She turned away from the busy road, trying to pinpoint where she had landed. That's when she saw the sign; Sub Zero Ice Cream Shop stood before she and Cassie felt her heart almost skip a beat. She did it, she had really made it back.

"Smalls?" said a voice from behind her.

Cassie froze, only one person ever called her that name. Slowly she turned around and spotted the person who had called out her nickname. Tony Stark stood before her, his beard a little rougher than when she saw him a month ago. He stood shocked holding a bag, Pepper by his side, pushing a stroller. Immediately he dropped his bags, walking over a pulling her into a hug without a second thought.

She wrapped her arms around him, smelling the familiar scent of his cologne. This is where she belonged. Not it some house in California with parents who never bothered to stay home. She was meant to be here, with Tony and Pepper living in New York City. When he pulled away, he kept his arms clutching her shoulders in disbelief.

"H-how are you here? I don't understand we watched you leave," he asked her, happy but confused at how she was standing before him.

"Tony, you don't know how much I missed you!" she said, her eyes filling with tears once more. "Strange slipped a sling ring into the bag you guys sent of the infinity stones. I guess I'm more powerful as a sorcerer than I realized."

The two laughed as Tony pulled her back into another hug. "It's been such a long year without you," he said.

Cassie furrowed her eyebrows and pulled away from him again. "A year?" she said shocked. "I-I've only been gone for a month!"

"It's been a year for us," Pepper said, rolling the stroller over to them.

Cassie smiled, pulling her into a hug as well. "There's someone we want you to meet, Cas," Tony said, lifting back the cover of the stroller to reveal a little baby inside. "Cassie, meet Morgan Stark."

She peered down at baby Morgan who was looking up at her with intrigued eyes. Cassie bent down to her level with a smile on her face. "Nice to meet you little Stark," she said, sticking out her finger for her to grab.

Morgan's tiny hand wrapped around her index finger, inspecting it. She gave a wide smile and immediately guided her finger up to her mouth and bit it. Cassie pulled back her hand at the sudden prick.

"Morgan!" Pepper exclaimed, reaching to calm her daughter down. "Sorry, she just started teething."

Cassie rubbed her finger for a moment before the pain subsided. "It's okay," she said.

"So Smalls," said Tony. "Is this just a trip here or are you staying for good?"

Softly, she replied. "Staying for good, if you'll still have me."

    "Of course!" Pepper said immediately.

"Like we were gonna kick you to the curb," Tony said, putting an arm around her shoulder. "Cassie Stark, has a nice ring to it don't you think?"

    She nodded. "Yeah, it does."

"Pepper I'm gonna head to the meeting early with Cassie, show them the good news. Are you okay heading back home yourself?"

"Yeah, I got this," Pepper said, lowering the hood of the stroller back down. "I'll see you at home, you too Cassie."

"Bye Pepper," she said watching her new "mom" in a way walk off down the street.
