So that night, was an extremely traumatizing experience for me. I was not only sleeping in my brand new husband's home, but I found out he was a cold-hearted killer.

I managed to get a few hours of beauty rest, but before falling asleep I realized that I was in terrible danger of being killed by this stranger. If I was stuck living with this psychopath, I needed to gain advantage of it. And whether I liked it or not, I really did need his help. I need him to tell me
more about my father, and most importantly how
to protect him. I decided to be nice to him. Or at least try. That was the only option I had.

I woke up bright and early to get ready and execute my plan. I needed to look as pretty as ever, so I got up, took a shower and picked out the perfect outfit. A creamy white button up shirt, a matching white mini skirt and some pretty brown sandals that fit perfectly for a stroll down in Monaco.

My plan was very simple, all I needed to do was act like the perfect wife, and gain his trust. Somehow.

I finished getting ready and headed for the door,
I made my way towards the balcony and went down the large white marble stairs that led me to the foyer.

In the kitchen, I ran into Lidia cutting up some fruit slices for breakfast, "Good morning, Mrs— um miss. You look very pretty today. " She said with
a warm smile.

"Thank you Lidia. Where's Niccolò?" I asked with nervous urgency.

"He's right outside by the pool miss, will you be having breakfast with him?" Lidia asked pouring water on a kettle.

"Um, yes please."

"Alright miss, we'll be right there." I walked out of the kitchen to the living room and opened the patio doors that led outside.

Niccolò was already sitting down on a table under an umbrella near the pool, he was wearing a dark blue shirt that was barely buttoned and beige pants. I cleared my throat as I approached his table,
"Good morning."

Niccolò lifted his head up from the newspaper he was reading and scanned my body for a moment. He stood up to move my chair away from the table so I could take a seat.

"Morning." He said before sitting
back down.

I sat down across from him, and only just stared at him for a while. I was finally able to see him for the first time in the daylight. It was strange seeing him sitting calmly in his chair, not bossing anyone around, not yelling at anyone, just sitting there peacefully drinking his coffee, without saying a word.

For a split second I didn't completely despise Niccolò Conti. I admired him some more, before I snapped back to reality and remembered what I came to him for,

"I um, got ready to go the airport... do you like
it?" I said, breaking the tranquil silence.

He didn't say a word, he just stared at me,
looking confused.

"I mean the outfit." I mentioned.

He paused for a moment before he spoke,
"I like you better in your pajamas." he said with
a cocky smirk forming on his lips.
