[Takeji's POV]
"Naruki-San?"
"N—Never mind what I said! I'll be leaving now! Take care on your—"
She was about to leave when I grabbed a hold of her bag.
"Wait! Sorry... I was just surprised with what you said..."
"I'm sorry to startle you... I don't— there's something I need to buy this weekend and I remembered what you told me. B—But if you already have plans, just... Just forget what I said..."
"Well... I will be hanging out with Drei this coming Saturday..."
She looked dejected. "I see... As I thought! Sorry for—"
"But I'm free this Sunday! I'm game!" I smiled at her.
"Really!?" She got excited but it looks like she tried to contained herself.
"I—I mean... That's great Takeji-Kun. I'll see you on Sunday then." She declared.
"Got it! Let's just message each other about the details."
"Okay, see you."
I smiled at her and waved my goodbye.
"Yes! Finally!"
I got pumped up with what just happened. I was trying to contain my excitement since I'll finally be able to spend some time with Naruki-san. I excitingly went straight home right after the conversation completely forgetting the exhaustion that was caused by my practice earlier.
"I'm home!"
"Nii-chan, you're awfully happier today" Misako teased.
"Oh, tell me about it!" I exclaimed.
"Don't tell me!?"
"Uhuh!"
"Wait, let's say it at the same time!"
"Okay!"
We both took a deep breath and,
"I'LL BE HANGING OUT WITH NARUKI-SAN THIS SUNDAY!!"
"YOU STARTED GOING OUT WITH NARUKI-SAN!"
"HUH!?" We both got confused.
"Uhm..." Misako awkwardly mumbled.
"Well, it's better than nothing! At least I'll be hanging out with her!"
"Didn't you confess to her at the Sunrise Festival?"
"About that..."
"What? You backed out!?"
"Hell no! I actually waited for her."
"Then what happened?"
"She was busy with her tasks that day and she had to go home"
"That's bs if you ask me..."
"Misako!?"
"What!? I'm just saying! If she didn't have time to meet you, she could've said anything beforehand!"
"I don't know..."
"Well... at least you'll be hanging out with her this weekend. Why not do it Saturday then?"
"I'll be hanging out with Drei this Saturday. We'll hang out in his home."
"Really!?" Her eyes lit up. "Can I come!? I don't have anything to do this Saturday!"
"You're surprisingly more excited than I am."
I noticed her face got red all of sudden.
"NO...!? WHAT MADE YOU SAY THAT!?" She protested. "Besides, I love watching movies with you guys. We've all been busy so I thought it would be nice to hang out"
