Hey WaffFam, how are y'all doing?

So in the last chapter, during Wale's conversation with Dave and the first girl he mentioned was Nadia, a lot of readers started speculating something something. Omoh, just dead that thought, abeg.

NOUMAN HUSSAIN

If left out was a person, I'm sure it'd be me right now.

I was so left out. Too left out. Really left out. Extremely left out.

I mean, what was I even doing here in the first place?

How did I allow myself to get brainwashed by Alfred of all people to attend a pool party?

A pool party!

Oh God! I stared at the party, at the people racing in the pool, at the ones dancing by the poolside, at the ones drinking by the bar, at the ones lounging on the sun loungers, at the ones clustered around the food stand and I sighed in frustration for the umpteenth time since I got here.

What're all these for goodness sake?

What was I supposed to do here?

And today of all days was the day I decided to come out with a film camera so I couldn't even look at the pictures I've been snapping since morning.

And then, there was Nazeera on the other hand.

As if on cue, my phone vibrated in my hands and I looked at it to see yet another message from Nazeera.

Oppa, where are the updates na? It's been hours since you left home and you've not sent anything😭

The updates were pictures from the party. They were the bribes I agreed to pay to her to convince her not to follow me here because the first thing she did when I told her I was going for a pool party was to dash into her room to look for something suitable to wear.

To the party.

And it took a lot of coercing, begging, and pleading to finally get her to stay back on a simple condition that I must send pictures of the party every 5 minutes.

Oppa!!!

I sighed, then started to put my phone away but the thought of the repercussions halted my movements and I started to take pictures of the party. And I haven't even fully sent the pictures to her when her replies started flying in which meant she must have been eagerly waiting for me to send them.

Oh my God! Oh my God!

Look at the party that you allowed me to miss.

Miss what? What would she even do at a pool party?

Or should I start coming? If I leave now, I should be there in less than 30 minutes.

Come? Come to where for crying loud sake? I started to type a reply to her when...

"Heyyy guysss, if you're enjoying the party, will you make some noise!!???"
