JAYDEN WATCHED AS WILL walked down the steps of school with Joyce rubbing his back. She felt bad for what the boy had to go through, she couldn't even imagine what having those episodes felt like.
"Okay, that totally freaked me out." Max said beside the brunette girl "Did that not freak you guys out?" she turned to the kids around her. The boys just kept staring at Will as he and Joyce walked to her car. "Two episodes in two days." Lucas told the group "It's getting worse." Mike responded with worry laced in his voice
"You think it's True Sight?"
"Whats True Sight?" Max asked the boys who all looked at Lucas with a shut up look. "It's nothing." He sighed. Jayden rubbed her temples while watching the car drive away.
"Oh my god." She mumbled removing her backpack from her shoulders and sitting down on the steps. Today had been a lot, it had been very mentally draining and her headache didn't make it any worse. All the sudden Jayden gasped looking at her watch. "Steve's gonna kill me." Jayden mumbled grabbing handfuls of her hair. She hadn't rode her bike to school, she was dropped off by Steve, and she totally forgot about him driving her home.
But it was obvious he didn't care that much since he had forgotten about the girl.
"Hey were gonna head home, you need a to ride to your house?" Mike tapped the girls side with his foot causing her to groan. "No, I'll walk." Jayden said looking up at Mike smiling "Need some fresh air anyway." she stood up dusting herself off before tucking random strands of hair behind her ears.
She watched the boys walk off turning to grab her backpack which was beside her, then finally noticing Max was still there. "Oh, I thought you left." Jayden laughed nervously as she swung her backpack back over her shoulders. "Nah, my ride left me too. Can we walk home together?" Max asked nervously playing with her fingers.
Jayden smiled "Of course! You can come to my house if you want." she started walking down the stairs before quickly turning towards the red head "Not that we can't go to your house! Or we don't have to go to any houses. Well of course you could go to yours and I could go to mine but we don't have to go to eachother- I'm gonna stop talking." Jayden shut herself up giving Max another smile, this one out of both awkwardness and nervousness.
