DUSTIN SLAMMED THE SHED door open making Eddie jump away from the window he had been looking out of.
The group walked in behind Dustin who flashed his pearly white teeth to Eddie. "Delivery Service." Dustin showed the bags of food. Eddie let out a huge breath while looking at a boy with a look that said "Are you serious?" which made Jayden chuckle a bit.
They gave Eddie the bags, letting him have his pick of what he wanted to eat. He settled with some Honey Comb cereal. The bushy haired boy say in the boat that hovered over the water while stuffing his face with cereal. "So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news." Dustin hesitantly said from a chair beside the boat.
"How do you prefer it?"
"Bad news first, always." Eddie said, muffled by the multiple honeycomb shaped snacks he was eating. "All right. Bad news. We tapped into Hawkins PD dispatch with out Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you." Eddie looked down. "Also, they're, uh, pretty convinced you killed Chrissy."
Max nodded. "Like, one hundred percent kind of convinced." Eddie looked at the two, worried. "And the good news?" He asked. "Your name hasn't gone public yet." Robin said. "But if we found out about you this easily, it's a matter of time before others do." Jayden butted in. "And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother is gonna be gunning for you." Robin finished.
"Hunt the freak, right?" He looked up at Robin who nodded in response. "Exactly."
"Shit."
"So, before that happens, we find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence." Dustin cut Eddie off from having a breakdown. Eddie cocked his head to the side while looking at the younger boy. "That's all, Dustin? That's all?" Dustin nodded. "Yeah, no, that's pretty much it."
