The oncoming headache didn't help her souring mood. First coach told them to fast for the next 24 hours, then learned her sister was coming for a visit with her family, and though she loves her sister's kids, she didn't want to see her sister or her husband. And now, she has to listen to Rachel whine and cry about Finn because of their break-up. For the hundredth time.
"Rachel, you know this by now, you can do better." Quinn tells, sighing.
"But, he is leading man-"
"No he's not! He can barely sing, has too left feet and goes from one girl to another. Didn't he forget you're vegan and bought you a pig? He wants one thing and you want another. Name one time he's actually listened to you?" Quinn asks, arms cross, waiting.
"He didn't mean too, and everyone forgets I'm vegan." Rachel admits quietly.
"No. You remind us every single fucken time you're vegan. If someone forgets, they don't care. You deserve better Rachel, we both do. Crying won't do anything about it." Quinn admits, remembering how many times she cried over Finn.
"I feel like I'm nothing without him though. Like he's my everything."
"But he's not. He gets angry for stupid reasons. Blames others for this misdoings. If he really loved you, he would've stopped the slushies for you. But, he didn't. They kept going even as you dated. He's not leading man material. He's not anything material. I would be a better match than him." Rachel looks at Quinn with wide eyes. "Unlike him, I can dance and carry a tune."
Rachel gives a giggle, wiping her eyes. "Look, come over tonight so I won't be completely freaked out over my sister's husband, we can play with their cute little kiddos, and then we can talk about Nationals and songs and whatever else. Okay?" Rachel gives a wordless nod, still shocked at Quinn's suggestion. "Great, be by my car at 3:30. See you then." Quinn gives a wink, already texting her mom that Rachel's coming as well, which earns her a laughing emoji.
