[Annika - A, Shivaay - S, Rudra - Ru]

A few days later Annika was on her way for a meeting. She was passing by a construction site. She saw a bunch of people surrounding something. She could hear a man's pleas. It appeared like someone was being beaten up and the crowd was just watching instead of helping. She parked her scooty and got closer to help.

A: Bhaiyya, what's going on here?

Man: Arey this sir is beating up that construction worker Ramesh because he misbehaved with his wife

A: And you all are just watching!

She went through the crowd to the center of the commotion

A: Shivaay! Stop it Shivaay!

There he was, beating the life out of that guy Ramesh. Khanna was trying to stop him but he would push him away. Annika went closer and held his hand mid-air

A: Shivaay stop. Let him go, you're going to kill him this way

S: Annika, move. This guy deserves it, you don't know what he has done

She held both his hands and stood between him and the guy he was beating. His eyes were red, hurt and pain evident in them.

A: Khanna ji, please take Shivaay with you

She spoke to Ramesh's wife geeta.

Geeta: Madam ji, my husband threw me out of the house. He says I cheated on him because our son doesn't have his fair complexion.

A: Listen, you don't have to live with this human garbage, okay! Take this number, call these ladies, they'll get you work and a place to stay. And you, how dare you to hit your wife! Are you blind, can't you see your boy has his mother's dusky complexion? Use your brain before you accuse someone. She's your life partner, have some faith in her.

She looked for Shivaay but his car was gone. After her meeting, she called him several times but his phone was switched off. She called Mishra

A: Mishra ji, is Shivaay in a meeting?

Mishra: No, he's at home

A: Okay, thanks

Annika went to Oberoi mansion

A: Khanna ji, is Shivaay home? His phone is off

Khanna: Yes he is, but he has been alone since we left that construction site.

A: What about other family members?

Khanna: No one's home. Om and Rudra sir will come back in some time. The elders are out of town today.

A: Can you show me his room?

Khanna took her to Shivaay's room, she knocked. No one answered but the door wasn't locked so she went inside. The room was a mess, broken stuff scattered on the floor. Even his dressing mirror was smashed into pieces.

Shivaay was sitting on the floor with his back against the bed, holding a glass of alcohol.

A: Shivaay

He didn't react so she sat down next to him. She noticed his knuckles were hurt, covered with blood that had now dried.

A: What have you done to yourself?
