What a journey we have had with this book. We started with a care free prince who wanted to abdicate the throne and live an ordinary life.
His determination to dodge every marriage match hit a brick wall when he met Thalia, the daughter of a duchess who also only wanted to marry for love. The tables turned on her when the aloof prince decided to choose her to be his bride.
Unfortunately their love story was short lived, paving the way for a second chance at love. Teli and Renée may not have clicked from the moment they set their eyes on each other but we have come to love their story, going through ups and downs with them to the climax of the story when they added a new member to their family.
It's been a year since we last read about them and we are back again to catch up with the Kaelans.
