"...Are you... flirting with me?" Matt's head tilted to the side as you laughed quietly.

You shrugged your shoulders, "What's it to you, Murdock?" Something about his sudden shyness made courage course through your veins.

Matt shook his head as a smile grew on his lips, "You-" He breathed which made you chuckle again.

"I'm sorry I just love when you're all awkward."

"I can tell, you do it a lot."

"Not my fault you're so responsive, Matthew." You could say the most sweet thing and Matt would turn bright red or suddenly be silent, it was like magic.

A visible cringe appeared on his face for only a second, his head turned away from you again, "I can't stop thinking about you," He admitted which made you pause.

You assumed his reactions to your teasing were merely out of discomfort but maybe it was because he felt the same? It shocked you but a large part of you was ecstatic. "Yea?" You asked, a grin on your face as you tried to contain the pure adrenaline pumping through your body.

Matt knew what you were doing, he stepped closer, "Yes." He said, facing you this time.
