08 - What's This Ugly Feeling?

Taehyung is in a cranky mood, but being the professional actor he is, he managed to not let anyone see it. He was all smiles and positive energy, even though he just wanted to scowl and snap at everyone. 

The reason.. he was missing his baby.

Jungkook had a tour scheduled in Japan so he had taken a break from drama shooting for two weeks. Taehyung hadn't seen him at all, except for the video calls and occasional texting. 

Jungkook had been so busy during the day and damn tired in the nights. Even when they do video calls, Taehyung could see how beat up the younger one is. So after talking for a few minutes, Taehyung normally asks Jungkook to go to bed. Jungkook had finished his scheduled performances a few days ago but he still had few interviews to attend, and would be returning tomorrow.

Prolonged separation was not unusual for Taehyung and Jungkook. There had been times when they didn't get to meet for months. Like when Jungkook was on world tours or Taehyung having his movie or drama shootings in different countries. But this time, Taehyung feels especially lonely because he had gotten accustomed to having Jungkook in his work place. 

Shooting for the drama progressed nicely. As Jungkook's absence was pre infomed, Yoongi had scheduled scenes of Taehyung's and Sana's in those days. As the main leads, they have the most screen time and at least quarter of them are of only them. The shooting of the drama will be fully completed before airing, another decision taken by Yoongi to accommodate both Jungkook's and Sana's hectic work schedules.

After the driver dropped him home, Taehyung decided to have a wash and go directly to bed. He was rather tired and also, wasn't that hungry. But when he went into his room, he had a surprise waiting for him. 

Someone was already sleeping on his bed. 

The off-white fluffy bed sheets had gotten tangled up around the person so badly that Taehyung couldn't even see their face. Not that it was a problem. Out of the few people who knew the security code to his house, only one person would dare to sleep on his bed.

Taehyung quietly went to the bathroom and had a quick wash, as he was eager to be with his boyfriend as soon as possible. He got dressed up only in a loose short, before untangling the sheets and sneaking under them.

Taehyung didn't mean to wake Jungkook up but the younger stirred a bit when Taehyung put his hand over his waist. Jungkook was also not wearing anything on his upper body so Taehyung's hands must have felt rather cold. 

"Hey.." Taehyung whispered affectionately as he pushed away a strand of hair from Jungkook's face.

"Hmm…" Jungkook mumbled something else sleepily. 

"It's me, baby." Taehyung whispered against Jungkook's nape, as he planted a soft kiss there. "Go back to sleep. I love you."

Again there was some incomprehensible mumbling from Jungkook, before a barely audible 'I love you'.

Taehyung woke up in the morning to the tickling feeling over his chest. He slowly opened his eyes, to see Jungkook making faint patterns there with his index finger.

"H-hi." Taehyung greeted in his deep bed voice, instantly making Jungkook stop his finger.

"Hey." Jungkook smiled at his boyfriend. "At what time did you come home? I wanted to wait but I guess I fell asleep. Why didn't you wake me up?"

Blame it on his sleepiness, but It took a few seconds for Taehyung to understand what Jungkook was saying. "You woke up when I came to bed."

Jungkook gave him a confused look and shook his head. "I don't think I did."
