The Drama started to air about two weeks later and it was a massive hit. The viewer ratings were over the roof which was not really a surprise considering the star-studded cast. The 3 main actors and other important people took part in many promotional activities such as interviews and variety shows and the public absolutely loved their interaction.

They all got along well throughout the schedules, thanks to Yoongi's habit of promoting friendly work-culture , but Sana seems to be making extra effort of befriending Jungkook. It was very subtle at first, so subtle that Taehyung wasn't able to notice it but after a while, it became very apparent.

She would always try to talk with Jungkook, sit next to him if the seats weren't already assigned, help him with small things like giving him his water bottle or passing messages.. Taehyung was in a better place mentally regarding her feelings towards Jungkook so he wasn't worried or anything but as the time progressed, it was as if she had glued herself to him.

Jungkook was confused, there was no other word for it. After that one and only involuntarily date they had, Sana kept her distance other than professional work. He didn't want to think the girl was trying her luck again, specially after Jungkook announced to the world about his long term relationship but he struggled to find another explanation either. He tried to keep his distance too but with cameras flashing all over them, it was hard to do.

As for the public, they were absolutely loving it. Sana and Jungkook together had been a popular idea ever since their names were announced as the cast for the drama and the recent interactions made that fire spread out even more. The whole country seems to be shipping the nations hottest male and female idols..

But unlike the previous time, Taehyung and Jungkook didn't let any misunderstanding come between them. They were communicating and keeping each other updated about what's happening. And besides, they had much more pressing matters to consider.

"Yes… Well, that's unfortunate. Mr Kim didn't confirm anything to me but I'm sure he would have been delighted to work with you….. sure, I'll let him know."

Jimin sighed as he cut the line and threw the phone on to the table. Taehyung, who was reading a script on the sofa in Jimin's office, looked up at that sigh.

"Another one?"

"Yeah." Jimin covered his face and groaned into his hands. "What the hell is happening?"

That seems to be the most important question right now. For the past few weeks,  there has been a series of unfortunate events, all seem to be random except that the main person affected by those events was Taehyung. His endorsement deals that were still in the talking stage, suddenly fell through. His drama and movie offers suddenly got pulled back, with little to no explanations. Jimin found out that some companies of his current endorsement deals were looking into terminating them, even at the cost of a penalty charge.

"Well, which one is it this time?"

Jimin's face was sympathetic as he answered that question. "Mr Lee's movie."

'Fuck it!' Taehyung cursed in his mind as he threw away the script in his hand. In vain he wasted two days going through that.

"Taehyung, I really don't understand this." Jimin's voice was laced with worry. "Mr Lee practically begged me to pass on that script for you. He said that the main character was written with specifically you in mind and that he will stop the movie altogether if he couldn't get you signed in for it. And now he's telling me that he's having second thoughts. What the fuck is going on?!"

"Don't worry about it, Jimin." Taehyung tried to reassure his manager-slash-friend. "Wasn't gonna accept it. The script is covered with plot holes. It would have flopped anyway."

"Good riddance for that then but that's not the point. One or two, we can pass off as coincidence. But not this many. I think I'll have to have a word with the big boss."

Taehyung hummed in agreement. He trusted his company and Jimin to handle things efficiently. His schedule is still insanely filled with work and besides, fewer dramas and movies mean he gets to spend more time with Jungkook.

"You seem troubled."

Taehyung looked up from his barely touched plate to see Jungkook's concerned gaze.

"It's nothing." Taehyung offered a small smile but even he could feel it was a fake one. "Don't worry about it."

"Tae." Jungkook's disappointed sigh made Taehyung drop the smile too. "Please.. we agreed for no secrets right?"

Taehyung gave a nod before recalling the highlights of his week. One movie and one drama offer retraction, two advertisements proposal withdrawals and one endorsement cancellation notice. All within the last 4-5 days.

"That's-" Jungkook felt like there was something stuck down his throat. "A lot."

No matter how much Taehyung tried to downplay it for the sake of the people around him, in his heart, he knew he had to agree with that. It was, indeed, a lot.

"Yeah."

Sana had a smirk on her face as she read about Taehyung's endorsement cancellation notice in one of the gossip sites. It was not supposed to be made known to the public but guess her uncle took care of that too.

She picked up her phone and dialed a number, only having to wait for a few seconds for it to connect.

"Sana, how's my favorite niece doing? Guess you saw the news."

"I did." Sana beamed from ear to ear. "Thank you, uncle."

"You don't need to thank me, darling. Nobody messes with my family while I'm alive."

"I know I asked a lot from you, uncle. Sorry for that."

"Not at all. And you should know that I'm only starting. When I'm done with him, he will have nothing to his name. No wealth, no fame, I will make his life crumble into dust."

Sana couldn't stop the grin that slipped past her face. Yes, that's exactly what she wanted. She wanted Taehyung ruined and humiliated in the public eye. And maybe, just maybe, she wouldn't want to stop at that too.
