  "Y/n, can I please have this dance?" I looked up at venti from the grass. His arm was outreached towards me and the warm evening breeze was blowing his braids that loosely hung next to his face. His face... Venti looked at me with a soft, loving expressing and a gentle smile I've seen only when he looks at me. One of our favorite songs was playing in the background, the sole reason for him asking for this dance- that and the fact he was utterly in love with me.

  "of course, but only on one condition," I giggled as I sat up and the boy looked puzzled. "We have to stargaze like this every night for the next 5 years," Venti grabbed my hand and laughed as he pulled me up from the grass and pressed me into his chest, one hand on the small of my back and the other wrapped around my right hand. I smiled and closed my eyes as I listened to his heart beat in rhythm with the song playing in the background.

  "Silly girl, I was going to do that no matter what. I want to spend every night like this for the rest of life, y/n" I pulled back to look him in the eyes. Venti brought his hand up and traced his fingers across my neck and up the side of my cheek, brushing my lip lightly before bringing me in for a kiss.

"I love you," I whispered as I rested my head back on his chest while we swayed back and fourth to the song.

"I love you too," he whispered in response.
