When the group went inside the house, Carlisle started fussing over Percy and Selene, “Carlisle, we're fine, I promise,” Selene told him when he examined Percy's ribs.
“I know, but for my peace of mind, I need to see that you two are okay.”
Selene and Percy roll their eyes and let Carlisle examine them. Once he was satisfied, they went back downstairs, where Esme had lunch. The minute Selene and Percy stepped into the dining room, Emmett rushed towards his mate, “Are you alright, Sel?” Emmett asked as he looked Selene over.
“Of course, Teddy Bear, as I told Carlisle, the water healed us; you have nothing to worry about.”
“And the baby?”
“Perfectly fine.”
Emmett sighed, “Good. I was so worried.”
Selene frowned, “Yes, I know. And don't think I didn't hear you growl at my brother, Emmett Cullen.”
If Emmett could have blushed, he would have. He at least was able to give Selene a sheepish look, “I'm sorry, Sel, I couldn't help it.”
Selene sighed, “That's alright, Em, but if you do that again, I'll kick your ass.”
Leah started cackling from where she was sitting, listening to Selene and Emmett, “Oh, I would love to see Dory kick the Grizzly Bear's ass.”
Emmett turned and glared at Leah, “Shut up, Toto.”
“Hey, that's Sel and my thing. Don't start with me, Emmett.”
Emmett grinned.
“Anyway, Emmett, feed me; the baby and I are hungry,” Selene said to her boyfriend.
“Right, Esme has everything ready, and she made a ton of food for you guys.”
Selene grinned and headed towards the dining room, followed by Percy and Emmett. The demigods sat down at the table, and Leah, Seth, and Paul, Emmett, sat down next to Selene. They began to serve themselves a mountain of food and had their lunch.
After lunch, Emmett insisted that Selene go to their room so that he could prepare a warm bath for her. He carried her back to their room and laid her down on their bed, then went to the bathroom to prepare the bath. Once the bathtub was filled, Emmett came back out and picked Selene you, and carried her into the bathroom, where he undressed her and placed her in the bathtub full of bubbles and scented oils. Selene sighed as her body was submerged in the water. She looked up at her mate and smirked, “Are you going to join me, Baby? Or are you going to make me bathe alone?”
