Cale sat on the couch and crossed his legs. He signalled the black kitten to connect the call.

- Young master Cale.

A beautiful woman with blue hair greeted him from the video communication device.

"Miss Witira."

Cale nodded nonchalantly.

- I have news to inform you.

Suppressing his sigh, Cale dipped his chin indicating for her to continue.

- Some suspicious people came to help the mermaids in our war.

"Didn't we already know that?"

He asked, frowning.

Witira shook her head.

- I mean, people are physically helping the mermaids now. They came to fight alongside the mermaids.

Witira clarified with a grave expression.

Cale glanced over to his brother just outside the view of the communication device and saw him thinking deeply.

"Tell me more details."

- Those people made a hideout in one of the islands. Currently, a spearman almost at the level of a master and a swordmaster is fighting for them on a ship.

Shocked, Cale slightly flinched.

"A swordmaster?"

- Yes. That swordmaster is strange though.

Cale narrowed his eyes. A spearman and a swordmaster. He doesn't remember anyone like that among the enemies they encountered during the twenty year long war.

'Did they die earlier on even before the war?'

He put the thought away for now and focused on their topic.

"What about the hideout?"

- We couldn't really come close to the island but we do know that they have a mage with them.

"A mage?"

His thoughts immediately went to Redika.

But that's impossible because that crazy bastard couldn't be anymore dead than he already was.

'A different mage?'

- It was an old mage. He seemed to be someone with authority as everyone is following his orders.

An old mage with high position in the organization.

A moment later Cale jolted as if hit by lightning. His eyes widening before narrowing again, this time with a hint of fury.

He remembered in the previous timeline, he had stayed with Eric and his family but they never avoided a tragic ending like the other nobles.

Just like most noble households not located in the capital, the Wheelsman household was attacked separately. Cale does not remember much of it because of the confusion and panic going on around him with Eric pulling him out to escape, but he does remember an old mage flying above sending magic attacks on the people of the Wheelsman territory.
