This is your TW. Yeah, this picture should say it all. Kinda pissed myself off writing this one. But if you're a dumbass, and you actually need to see it. Warning child abuse, warning, hints of sexual abuse, warning, people being assholes.

Oh yeah, slight spoilers ahead.

The heavens opened up, letting out a downpour of snowy droplets. Kissing the earth below, its inhabitants scurrying about as they often do. Most of them seem too busy to take in the wonders around them.

The first sign of death, of a world going into a deep slumber until spring. An odd sight to behold for mid-October. Yet that didn't matter much, just meant more white mixed in with all the yellows, oranges, reds, and browns. Some people found it quite beautiful, romantic even.

That was not the case for everyone. A lone figure found himself resting against a tree before shuffling towards the busy streets. Perhaps this time luck would be on his side. It's so cold but I can't go back yet. Not without it, if I do...

Shivering against the memory of a hand colliding into his small cheek. Molten hues are tearful, wide, fearful. Shaking his head, messy locks swayed, now was not the time to think about that. Money, money was needed, that would make everyone happy, right? Then maybe the beatings would stop, mommy would hold him again, he'd be everyone's good boy then.

Crossing the street, tiny arms held onto an old Endeavor plushie, worn and torn from overuse. The one thing that keeps him sane, safe. "Excuse me, sir..." Calls out the little voice of a six-year-old, it's ignored. "Miss?" Again, ignored.

"Umm..?"

"What do you want, kid?" The question was asked quite aggressively, making the young boy flinch. "D-do you have any s-spare ch-change?" Rolling his eyes, the adult grunted before tossing a handful of change at him. "The filth around here keeps getting younger and younger."

Quickly picking up every coin, a small thank you was offered as the man walked off. Counting the first offerings of the day, shoulders slacked, this wasn't nearly enough. Trying again, a miss this time, the adult just kept walking.

Large eyes scanned the area for the next target. "Miss, you dropped your bag." Tiny red feathers moved to help pick up the bag. "Why, thank you, dear. So sweet." Taking her bag back, she pulls out a few bills and gives him a reward.

It still wasn't enough but it was a much better start than normal. As the clouds started to block out the morning light, a group of teens came by. They watched as the child begged and was ignored. One of them offered to give him a hand, only to steal the cup and then run off with his speed-based quirk.

Unable to catch up to the older boy, a sigh escaped, and tears dropped from his eyes. What can I do now? It's getting late and I have nothing to bring home... "What's the matter, kid, you lost or something?"

Dirty blond tresses shook, "no. I'm not lost, I'm fine." Something about him isn't right. Taking a step back as the drunkard steps forward, tiny body shivering, fluffy wings puffing up. "Come here, it's disrespectful to walk away from an adult when they're talking to you."

Keigo turned to flee, just barely dodging the drunkard's hand. Little remiges grabbed his wallet that was about to fall out. Even if this weirdo was a creep, Takami Keigo was no thief. Slipping the wallet back while keeping a safe distance.

Golden-hawk-like orbs stayed focused on the streets, making sure not to run into anyone. Quickly turning a corner, then dashing through an alleyway, he stops. Did I finally lose him? Turning to look around, he seems to be alone.
