The next morning...
I woke up to the smell of bacon, I quickly widened my eyes as Ery was bringing me some food
" Well morning JoJo"
" JoJo? That's the best you came up with ?" I ask smiling,
He giggles and rolls his eyes while shaking his head, he walks towards me and sits by my leg. He puts his hands on my legs and closes his eyes. His hands were so warm it was comforting. I felt my leg gain back health, he opened his eyes and pulled me up, as I stood my leg felt no pain. He healed me. I jumped into his arms for a hug and told him thank you,
" I- oh uh you're welcome JoJo, he says flustered, I grab all my stuff and walk out the door.
" Wait uh where are you going?" He asks nervously
" Well, I'm all healed up now, I should be on my way.. " I ask confused.
" You should stay for longer, just in case." he asks with a nervous smile,
" he doesn't think i'm that fucking dumb does he." I say in my head.
I walk in, letting go of all my stuff and putting it on the ground, I sigh and sit back down on the couch, he brings me some food as we hear a knock on the door, he goes to open it as Luke and Cooper shoot open the door and pins him to the ground,
" LET HER GO" I quickly stop them and push them off,
" Who the heck is he and why are you protecting him" Luke says
" Well he's-" He looks at me with a look " He's a friend of mine. He saved me when I twisted my leg falling down... He means no harm " I say helping Ery up,
Ery whispers a thank you as he hugs me, I look at Luke while Ery is hugging me and I see a jealous face on both of the boys. I quickly let go and asked how they found me,
" Well uh it's just pure luck!" Says Cooper, but Ery pulls out a chip from my backpack.
" À tracking device" says Ery. I look at the boys in fury and push them out of the way while leaving the cottage. I quickly storm out in the forest in tears,
" Do they trust me?Am I just a prize towards them? " I say walking in the middle of the forest,
I lift my head from the ground to realize how deep I was, it was a place I never saw before. It was dark and gloomy, no sunlight at all. I started to shiver in the cold as it got darker.. I hear noises behind me as I run for my life, I reach a dead end as the noises get closer until behind me something opens, it was a shape of a butterfly and it opened up, before hesitation I quickly ran in as the bear chasing me saw the door close on him. I'm safe. I turned my slow ass around and looked at the beauty. It was a cave filled with butterflies with a tiny temple in the middle of the cave. I needed to fly over, I turned into my butterfly form and slowly hovered over. As I got on the ground it started to rumble,
" Welcome, Queen Joy. You have the gold butterfly, a super rare form of butterfly that only occurs when a young princess shows bravery,love,loyalty and kindness at the same time, you gave chance to villains and saved your one true love, you showed bravery for your kingdom and loyalty towards everyone. You and your aunt Chrysalis are the only ones with the gold butterfly, Welcome, to the temple of the butterflies." Says a voice opening the doors of the temple.
All the butterflies around me turn gold I smile in joy as I walk in to see tapestries of all of my ancestors. It showed all of their butterfly forms and the reason they got it, I saw my moms, my grandma's and more. Mine was being made by the temple, the tapestries show what happened or what soon will be, mine was chaotic, full of darkness, sadness, and more. My wings were gone and I was standing beside the bodies of my loved ones. Except I saw someone in the background but I wasn't so sure who it was. I fall to the ground until I feel a hand on my shoulder, I look back to see a lady in a beautiful yellow dress.
" Who Are you.." I ask
" I am Chrysalis, the second golden butterfly" I stand up in shock,
" You can call me auntie." I smile and ask where her tapestry is and why she's here.
She told me to follow her, as she brought me into a room she opened the lights to show thousands of tapestries with the same thing as me except someone else. She looks at me and says
"Those were all the golden butterflies. The reason she mentioned my name was because I'm still alive. Every generation knows this place except the gold ones, they find out themselves to see their future, it's a fake future and it makes you think it happens so it really does. Once a gold dies their tapestry gets removed and same with their name, like they never existed. I lived and changed my future, you got gold because you're the most powerful, especially you because you got it at a young age. They want you to believe you're a mistake so you can leave, but you're queen early because of your gratitude. Now please, don't make the same mistake it did as a kid and push everyone away, you'll be alone. Trust me, " I thanked her and quickly ran out.
I fly out of the cave and start flapping intensely in the sky, I look back to see the cave closed up. I ignore it and rush back to the cottage. As I open the door I see everything on the ground and broken, I hear noises, I run to the closet to see Ery tied up and beaten up,
" WHAT HAPPENED?" I ask,
" Luke and Cooper happened, they beat me up for hugging you." I feel my body heat go high.
My eyes are blood red, I rush out the door and turning to my form, I felt like fire. Once I arrive at the castle I fly around until I find both the boys in the dining hall. I break into the room smashing the doors in anger.
" YOU" I yell as I grav both the boys by their throats.
My wings turn red as I feel like Fire, they lose breath until I hear someone run in.
" LET THEM GO " I turn around letting them go to see Coral helping Luke and Cooper up,
I slowly calm down as Coral calls me a monster, I fly out in fear of what I did as I hear Cooper call my name as I fly out crying. I zoom past all the trees until I run into a tree, I fall down with an injured wing as I cry. I hit the ground in pain, I lay there with tears rolling down my face, I wrapped myself up with my wings until I felt a hand on my body. I slowly look up to see Chrysalis. I get up and jump into her arms and start to bawl,
" Oh honey your wings, It needs to be healed," She says, picking me up and fluttering away.
As we land I look up to see Ery's cottage. She walks in and lays me on the couch as I see Ery walking over.
" Omg Jojo, your wings.. It's broken and oh no" He says holding his breath.
My aunt walks towards me as she gasps.
"What's wrong.." I ask in agony.
" It's fading away.. The more they're out the faster they turn into ash.." I quickly try to go out of my form as I yell in pain.
