"We're going to Costa Rica in a week." Alice dramatically states.

"Really? I had no idea." Jordan mumbles, sarcastically.

"We have to go to the mall." Amber says, sipping her iced coffee.

"It's like 6 pm." Xavier says from the kitchen.

"The mall's opened, so come on. Get up. And let's go." Lizzy says, drinking her green juice.

As they continue trying to make plans, I get up and go open the door to whoever the guards say won't leave. To my surprise it's Jordan's annoying girlfriend, who refuses to believe she isn't his girlfriend.

Frankly speaking, she annoys the shit out of me. And I don't get why Jordan's not breaking up with her. Not that they're dating.

"What do you want Makayla?" I sigh, walking out.

"Jordan isn't answering my calls, Jayden." She says, wiping a tear.

She looks like she's been crying.

"I saw him like 5 minutes ago, he's fine." I answer.

"Then why isn't he..." she whispers.

"He's not your husband, he isn't gonna be your husband. So do yourself a favor and find someone who is willing to be your husband. You and I both know that someone isn't Jordan." I explain.

"Jayden. I really need to talk to him." She cries.

Shit.

"Are you pregnant?" I blurt out.

"No." She says, softly.

I sigh, relieved.

I cannot imagine my best friend as a father.

Even worse, I can't imagine a mini him.

"Jayden, please." She says, gripping my arm.

"Don't fucking touch me." I pull my arm back.

She flinches.

"Please Jayden, I need him." She cries

"Fine, I'll go get him." I say walking away.

She's not my problem anymore.

I walk inside the house and towards the living room.

"Jordan." I call out.

"What?" He walks over.

"Your crazy girl is out and she won't fuckin' leave" I announce.

"Tell her I'm not here." He shrugs.
