CHAPTER XX

I shot Demony and evil look.

"THAT MAN CAN'T EVEN BLINK! YALL AIN'T HAVE TO DO HIM LIKE THAT!" I yelled.
"THAT NIGGA JUST SLAPPED YOU!" Clay yelled.
"AND YALL JUST WHOOPED HIS ASS!"
"AT THE END OF THE DAY , ION WANT YOU SEEING HIM NO MORE! THAT NIGGA IS DEAD TO US!" Demony yelled.
"FUCK YOU THINK IMA BE SEEING THIS NIGGA?! IM DONE WITH HIS ASS TOO!" I yelled.

"You say that every time." Demony said as he sat down.
"You think i'm playing? Watch this shit." I said.

I grabbed my car keys and walked out.

2 hours later ..

I went to a party that I had heard about.
I was sitting in a corner , in a chair sipping my drink.
A boy walked past me.

I ain't know if he was a girl or a boy at first but I seen the chest and realized.

"You are so pretty." I said.
"Thank you love , same to you. Besides that black eye .. wanna talk about it?" He replied.
"Not really but thank you , i'm Tae." I said.
"I'm Keon." He replied.
"Finally built the courage to talk to someone here." I laughed.
"Shit me too , me and my brother just be chillin in the corners with each other." Keon said.
"I know that feeling." I said.
"Speaking of him , you tryna smoke a blunt with us in the back?" Keon asked.
"Sure." I said as I stood up and grabbed my purse.

We walked to the back door and went to the backyard.
There was this fine ass man standing in front of me.

He was licking that blunt so damn good ..

"Wassup." He said.
"H- Hey .." I stuttered.
Keon laughed.

"He always gets that. That stuttery ass first hi." Keon said.
"I see why , prolly be having them lil girls obsessed." I said as I hopped up on the porch fence.
"Boys." He said as he corrected me.
"Damn .. you out the closet?" I asked.
"Yea." He responded.
"Oh mk .. interesting." I mumbled.
"How's that interesting?" He laughed.
"Nothing .. what's your name? I'm Taven .."
"Dezmon" He said.
"Hi- Hi Dezmon .." I stuttered.
"Hi Taven .."

"Lordd here y'all go." Keon laughed.
"What you talking about?" Dezmon laughed.
"Taven looks like a nice kid , do not turn him bad." Keon said.
"I'm nott." Dezmon laughed.
"Damn how old is yall?" I asked.
"I'm 21 , he's 19." Dezmon said.

21?
He's damnear my brothers age .. but he so damn fine.
Ima get his number by tonight Idc.
Ima get Keons number too , I need new friends.

"How old is you?" Dezmon asked.
"17 .." I said.
"Oh you young , young." He said.
"Yea .. sum like that. But I could still hang" I laughed.
"Oh yea , we gon see when you hit this blunt." Dezmon said as he sprinkled some leaf in the blunt.

He finished rolling the blunt and lit it.
He passed it to Keon and Then it was passed to me.
I took a pull of the blunt.
The blunt hit so damn good I thought I was dreaming.

"Damn boy , what you put in here?" I asked as I blew the smoke out.
"Grabba. It's tobacco. It taste good as fuck don't it?" Dezmon laughed.
"Hell yea." I said as I took another pull and passed it to him.

1 hour later .. 11:24 PM.

Me , Keon , and Dezmon was walking to our cars.
I got Keons number but not Dezmons.

"Damn , I left my purse in the bathroom. Lemme go get it." Keon said as he ran back in the house.
"So um .. where y'all stay? East or West?" I asked.
"West .. I hate it over there." Dezmon said.
"Shit , I hate the East side. Maybe we could switch some days." I laughed.
"Yea maybe." He said as he laughed with me.
"Here , take my number .. just in case." Dezmon said.

I damnear jumped for joy.
I took my phone out and he took the phone and put his number in it.
He saved it as "Dez🧡"

"Thanks .. Ima text you some times." I said.
"Do that , I be needing someone to talk to beside Keon." Dezmon said.

Keon came back out the house like he had seen a ghost.

"What happened?" I asked.
"It's two hoes in there fighting." Keon laughed.
"Oh hell no , we all already know how that's finna end." Dezmon said.

Soon as he said it , a shot rang out from inside the house.

"And .. there it is." Dezmon said as he opened his car door.
"Later Tae , ima text you!" Keon said as he got on his car behind mines.
"Okay." I replied as I got in mine.

We all pulled off.
I started down the road and just started thinking about TJ.
I felt the instant urge to go check on him.
I did a u-turn and started to their house.
I made it there in 15 minutes.
I got out the car and knocked on the door.
Ki'moura came and opened the door.
She seen it was me and rolled her eyes.

"Bitch what you here for?" She snapped.
"Hoe not for you. Didnt you already get yo ass beat? Leave me alone." I said as I shoved past her and walked upstairs to TJ's room.

I seen drops of blood all on the carpet.
They lead up to the bathroom.
I walked to the bathroom and seen TJ on the floor. , laying flat on his back.
He was breathing heavy and could barely keep his eyes open.
I put my purse on the counter and sat on the floor.
I pulled him into my lap and held him.
I rubbed his face with my nails.

He held onto me too.
I planted a wet kiss onto his lips.
He stared at me and poked his lips out for another one.
I gave it to him.
