Four vampires all sit down at an round expensive dining table, but none of them are really there to dine. They are there to negotiate. Of course, they have not made good progress in doing so.
"Stefan. Where is the lovely Elena tonight?" Elijah asks as he leans on the table.
"I don't know. Ask Damon."

Elijah opens his hands and looks at Klaus in confusion, who responds by laughing. "I'm sorry, you've missed so much. Ah, trouble in paradise." He waves toward Stefan and Damon.
"One more word about Elena, and this dinner's over."
Klaus smiles and puts a finger to his lips as a promise to keep quiet about Elena.

"We have apparently swapped exes." Damon states, causing Stefan to give him a look.
"She doesn't want to be found. So leave it." Stefan responds.
This causes Klaus's face to go serious as he sits up straight in his chair at the mention of the blind witch who has been missing.
"You know what, probably best just to keep Elena and Carter in the do-not-discuss pile." Damon says, trying to avoid anything that will make Stefan snap.
