"Are you going to tell me I'm crazy?" I ask, staring at my laptop screen at my aunt Lenore. I'm back at my house, sitting in my bedroom, waiting for Bonnie to put Nik back in his body. Apparently, the council had kidnapped Caroline, and Nik saved her and Rebekah while Stefan and Elena were still locked up. Probably out by now. So I cooked dinner and dyed my hair red to pass the time. Then I decided to call my aunt and keep her up to speed on what was happening with me and my new discovery.

"Yes, I think your crazy for still being in that town when the council is after every supernatural, and they will be ecstatic to kill a Cresecnt witch." She states, and I roll my eyes. "Don't even get me started that you are at home chilling, dying your hair like the town didn't just go to shit."

"Exactly, I'm a Crescent witch. They may like to pretend that our family is inferior, but they know better than to fuck with me." I wish I would be scared of some humans. I scoff. "This town always goes to shit."

"And yet you stay!" She throws her arms in the air. "You are sitting in a warded house?"

"Oh, that's to keep out my ex-friends," I state, glancing at my closed curtains. When Rebekah said Damon came looking for me, I decided to ward the house. I died and gained a new life, literally. I deserve my time. "I did mention I killed my ex-best friend."

"So I should be committing you to a psych ward?" She shakes her head. "What on earth would possess you to kill Elena Gilbert?! I know she's done some shit to you, and you can be petty, but I didn't think you would murder her."

"I didn't murder her with my bare hands." I roll my eyes. "I had a vision that told me what I needed to do."

"And when did you start listening to your visions?" She scoffs.

"When my parents died in front of me." I state dryly. It goes silent as we stare at eachother before she sighs.

"It's going to be three years soon." I take a deep breath as she continues. "I can come there, or you can come here to do something."

"I will let you know when it's actually time." I don't want to think about how long my parents have been dead right now. The sound of my phone goes off, and I pick it up to see Bonnie calling. "I gotta go, Lenore. I love you."

"Be safe, and I love you too." She says before I end the video chat and answer Bonnie's call.

"I tried to save her even though you told me not to." She says, and I can tell she's been crying. I had told Bonnie it was nothing she could do to save Elena now. She had to let her be.
