Twisted and crippled
Stone in the water without a ripple
A song bird without a voice
No decision made but infinite choice
Joyous laughter masking whimpers
Insurmountable strength but fear still simmers
Frozen in place
Muck and mire clinging without a trace
There is an invisible push and pull
Against the monsters we try to cull.

PoetryThis is a collection of poems that I have written about my struggles with depression, anxiety, love, nature, and the darker aspect of the world that seems to always hammer on my heart. I hope this reaches some of you.
