Tragic happiness
Is when laughter feels unnatural
Smiles split the corners of my mouth
Tasting bitter iron on my tongue
Fear stocks my momentary elation
The creeping shadow of my joy
I dread these moments
More than being morose
For when I drop my guard
My spirit is drawn and quartered.

PoesiaThis is a collection of poems that I have written about my struggles with depression, anxiety, love, nature, and the darker aspect of the world that seems to always hammer on my heart. I hope this reaches some of you.
