I stare into the darkness
A depth unfathomable
A fly trapped upon the spiders web
Struggling against the abominableA husk upon intricate patterns
Beauty in mornings frost unstable
Weight upon shimmering web
Broken strands dangle memorableCrisp and shimmering sunlight
Breath steaming as I ponder
The delicate beauty savagery is
Am I the fly upon the web I wonderEvery thrash sending vibrations
Across these frosted webs
Soon to be torn asunder.
