The time has come for you my dear
To embrace this breathless silence
To lay your golden curls here
Ending natures violence
Eyes a ocean hue
Gazing at the sky so blue
Sickly cheeks shimmer wet
Waiting for the end to come
Little life lived
Even less left
A smile slips upon pail lips
The little one with strength
In face of the futile
It is time to rest
Darkness draws its curtains
Limbs go limp
A precious life leaves
A smile still lingers
Those she loved left to grieve
Do not dwell on the battle lost
Revel in the strength that was shown
And the love that was given
Light a candle of remembrance
The fight is done
And death has won
Peace has been found
For this brave little one.

PoetryThis is a collection of poems that I have written about my struggles with depression, anxiety, love, nature, and the darker aspect of the world that seems to always hammer on my heart. I hope this reaches some of you.
