I remember when I was young
Sitting below the sun
Golden rays kissing my freckled cheeks
Like a mother's lips soft and lovingThe warmth enveloping
Into a golden embrace
Another freckle upon my face
Watching clouds floating by
Battleships high in the skyGreen grass pricking skin
Itchy welts soon begin
A bead of sweat falls into my eye
A troop of ants on my thighThe world is in motion
On the ground
And in the ocean high
Those golden rays
Bring the world out to play.
