She was standing there
With her bleach blonde hair
Couldn't decide what to wear
Sun-kissed skin
Freckles coming through
Thinking about what to do
I see her in this light
The morning breaks from night
An innocent thing
Yet to reveal what day brings
Will it be rain
Or a new carpet stain
Blistering blue skies
Following sunburst sun rise
I see her in this light
Of unknown perception
What will she bring today
A certain amount of uncertainty
Adds to the confounding beauty
Of the one I call love.
