11. Gerard Way

Double kill

Romantic Fluff.
Assassin Y/N.

"Assassin, agent Y/L/N, you have mission" my boss said. "Being our best agent you're the only one good enough for this job"
"What is it sir?" I asked.
"It's the guy at (insert address) and his name is Gerard Way, we need you to get close and comfortable with him and then kill him"
"Yes sir"
"He is gonna be home from a nearby store soon so we'll drop you off near his location. Bump into him by "accident" and introduce yourself"
"Plan understood sir"
"Good luck"

I grabbed my gun and hopped into the car with a body guard.
I work as an assassin/agent for big money for every mission.

We pulled up on a parking lot.
"Good luck Mr. Y/L/N"
"I don't need luck, I have skill" I smirked, pulling out a picture of my target.
I looked up and immediately spotted him walking out of the store.
I ran behind a car and waited until he was close enough.
When he got to the spot in wanted him in I pretended to run into him by accident.

"Ah Sorry!" I said. "I didn't watch where I was going"
"It's alright" he said. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, just a bit lost. I'm not from around here"
"What's your name?"
"I'm Y/N, you?"
"Gerard" he smiled at me sweetly and my heart melted a little.
No!
I'm on a mission.
I have to kill him eventually.
"If you're not too busy right now I could make you tea at my place?"
"Oh sure" I returned the smile.

"So what brings you here?" Gerard asked, driving down a small street.
"Oh I'm visiting family but they canceled on me so I'm kinda stuck since I've paid for everything" I sighed, making up my lie along the way.
"Oh Uhm, you can stay at mine until you can go home"
"Thank you! You're so nice!"
My heart melted more.
He's so sweet and pretty.
But I have to complete my mission.
I can't get caught up in feelings.
I can't fall for him.
"Your face is adorable" he chuckled.
We arrived at his house.

Gerard took my hand, lead me inside and sat me down on his couch.
"I'm gonna make us some tea, make yourself at home" he said.
"Thanks" I nodded.
I leaned my head back and smiled.
What if I quit this bullshit and fall in love with Gerard?
"Here's the tea!" He handed me a cup and sat down next to me.
"Did you know that you're a very pretty boy?" I asked him.
"I did not know that"
"Well you are"
He looked away as blush creeped up on his cheeks.
I chuckled and sipped on my tea.
"It's getting late, we should go to sleep" he said.
"Yeah, yeah you're right"
He ruffled my hair and got up. "Goodnight"
"Night" I grabbed his hand and kissed it.

Gerard went to his room and threw a blanket to me. "Sleep well angel"
"You too"
I laid down on the couch and pulled the blanket over myself.
What if I quit and marry this guy.

3 days later...

"The morning is here" Gerard woke me up again.
"Good morning" I yawned, sitting up and looking at him.
"What should we do today?"
"I don't know, what do you wanna do?"
"We could go out and watch a movie"
"Like a date? Are you asking me out?"
Gerard looked down and smiled awkwardly. "Yeah, I am"
I chuckled and kissed his cheek as I walked past him to the bathroom to take a shower.
I am fucked.
I fell for him.
But I have to finish the job.

After I took a shower I put my clothes back on and decided that it was time to do it.
"Ready to go?" Gerard asked, taking my hand in his.
"I like you a lot and there's something I have to do" I whispered.
I kissed him and pressed the gun against his chest.
I felt him put a knife to my throat.
"Looks like we're both on a mission"
I jumped away from him and pointed the gun at his head. "My boss didn't tell me about this"
"He sent you on a possible suicide mission, knowing you're his best agent" Gerard said. "It is pretty sad but a mission is a mission"
"I don't really wanna complete mine" I put the gun down.
"Disobeying your boss's orders huh?" I felt his hand on my waist.
He put the knife down on the table and kissed me.
"For you" I said, caressing his cheek and smiling at him.

I heard the door open and Gerard pulled out a gun and shot something.
There was a loud thud in the doorway.
I turned around to see who it was.
It was someone who was working with my boss as well.
"They're after us both now" Gerard said, grabbing my hand and running into his bedroom.
"'They?' Who are you talking about?" I asked.
"Your boss and my boss. They're both after us"
He pulled out some heavier guns from his closet and handed me a bulletproof vest.
"Grab yourself a gun and be ready to defend yourself if I'm not able to"
I nodded, putting on the vest and grabbing a machine gun. "You're gonna be okay, right?"
"Worry about yourself darling" he said. "I'm going, stay here"
"No, I'm not letting you go alone" I snapped, grabbing his hand.
"You have to, it's for your safety, I don't want to lose you"
I pulled him in for a kiss. "Don't you dare die"

Gerard ran out of the room and into the hallway.
The gunshots echoed in the house and some yelling could be heard from to living room.
I stood there, everything possible flashing through my head.
And then I heard him yell.
"Fucking no you don't"
I ran out there and started shooting the other agents.
I saw Gerard on the floor crawling towards me.
"Y/N GO!! RUN!"
I looked back up, seeing my friends from other missions, now standing with their guns pointed towards me.
I opened fire at them, enraged and scared but determined to protect Gerard.

I ran over to Gerard, inspecting his wounds.
The had been shot in the left leg twice and once on his side that was not protected by the vest.
"You're gonna make it out alive" I said. "You're gonna be okay"
"Angel, it's too late" he said. "It's over"
"No, Don't say that!"
I heard 2 more gunshots echo through the house and slumped down on the floor next to Gerard.

I put a hand up to my neck and saw blood.
"We lost, I couldn't protect you" he whispered sadly, his tears falling down onto the floor.
"And that's okay, we're together" I took his hand in mine and kissed him.
"So long"
"And goodnight"
