"Gerard!" I yelled, shutting the front door.
"Baby you're home" he smiled, running over to hug me.
I kissed his cheek and nuzzled his shoulder.
"I'm tired"
I kicked off my shoes and he took me to sit down on the couch.

I placed my head onto his lap and smiled.
"You're so adorable" Gerard said, scratching my head.
It sent shivers down my spine and I sighed in satisfaction.
"My puppy boy" his voice was soft and calm.
I closed my eyes and leaned into his touch.
I hummed and he pulled me up and onto his lap.

He placed little kisses on my neck and then kissed me properly.
He trailed his hand to the back of my head and he scratched it again.
I melted, my lips separated from his and I pressed my face against his shoulder.
"You're a very good boy" Gerard whispered into my ear. "My good boy"
I smiled and kissed his neck softly. "Yours and only yours, darling"

"I need to get some paper for work" I said after a while of cuddling.
"When are they supposed to be done?" He asked.
"Friday"
"Well then you're not going anywhere" he hugged me tightly. "I need to cuddle you"
"Okay"
Gerard laid down and I curled up on top of him. "Are you comfy pup?"
"Mhm" I closed my eyes and hummed.
He kissed my forehead and hugged me close.
I wiggled around and gave him a kiss. "I love you"
"I love you too Y/N" he scratched my head and I yawned.
I stared at him with heart eyes and he smiled. "You're staring at me with those eyes again honey"
I blushed and he chuckled. "You're so adorable"
"Thank you babe" I mumbled into his chest.
He continued scratching my head and I could feel myself falling asleep.

Gerard's POV:

"Baby?" I asked quietly.
His breathing was calm and I smiled.
I picked him up very carefully and took him to our bed.
"Gerard?" He whispered.
"Shh, go back to sleep, it's okay" I kissed his forehead and he closed his eyes.
I laid down next to him and pulled the covers over us.
"Gerard please" Y/N whispered sleepily.
"Ok baby" I sighed. "What's the worst that I can say... things are better if I stay... so long and goodnight... so long and goodnight..."
I sang the song quietly and he smiled.
He cuddled up to my side and yawned.
"Goodnight love"
"Goodnight baby"
