They came back

Continuing the 1st part 'New Family'

"Can I take you shopping?" Gerard asked.
"Yeah, I mean I don't have any clothes other than the ones I got from Frank"
"And I actually do also need my clothes" Frank pointed out.
"I'm coming with you 2" Ray said.
"First, let's get you some new shoes" Gerard said.
We left the hotel and went to a store nearby to get me some clothes and shoes.

"So, what do you want?" Gerard asked.
"Can I get anything?" I asked.
He nodded, smiling at me.
I ran over to look at some black jeans and shoes.
Ray and Gerard followed me as I jumped around the store and tried on some clothes.

I got a couple shirts, hoodies and some jeans and shoes.
"We're gonna have a show in another state tomorrow so we have to get you all sorted out" Ray said.
"The only things I had with me when I was kicked out was a couple dollars and my passport so that's taken care of" I said.
"Why did you have your passport?"
"I thought I could get money somewhere and escape the country"
Gerard chuckled lightly.
Ray put an arm around me and smiled.

"Y/N, my son" I heard a familiar voice.
"No" I let out in a shaky whispered. "Please no"
Ray turned around and I stood behind him, hugging him tightly.
"Y/N, please we love you" my 'dad' said. "Come home"
I didn't say anything and just stood behind Ray and Gerard.
"You should've thought about that before kicking him out for expressing himself" Ray snapped. "He's not going"
"And who do you think you are?" My mom asked.
"We're a part of his new family" Gerard said. "He told us everything we need to know about you 2"
I stepped forward and my 'parents' looked at me.
"I chose my family, I chose the ones who actually love me" I said sternly. "I don't need you and I never will"
Ray took my hand and pulled me closer to him.
"C'mon honey, let's leave these freaks on their own" my 'dad' said.

They left and I turned to look at Gerard and Ray.
"Good job kid" Gerard said.
"We're so proud of you" Ray said, placing a little kiss on my forehead. "Son"
I hugged both of them.
"Thank you" I whispered.

"C'mon, let's get you a suitcase and some hygiene stuff so you're all ready to travel with us" Ray said.

We went to a store to buy me a suitcase and everything else.
"Our flight is leaving at 4, we have plenty of time" Gerard said. "Do you want ice cream?"
"Yeah!" I said excitedly.
"Me too!" Ray said.
"Let's go" Gerard smiled.

We went to an ice cream bar and Gerard got us all ice cream.
"Did you have fun today?" Ray asked.
I nodded, stuffing my face with ice cream.
"Great! We'll have even more fun tomorrow!"
"But where will I go once the tour is over?" I asked.
"You can choose whose house to stay at first, will switch every once in a while" Gerard said.
"I wanna go to Mikey's"
"Alright we just have to make sure it's okay with him"
He pulled out his phone called Mikey.

"Hey Mikes, when the tour's over do you think you can take Y/N in for, let's say about 2 months?" Gerard asked.
"Yeah sure, I'll take the kid" I heard Mikey say on the phone. "He's pretty cool, isn't he? I like spending time with him"
"Awww" I whispered, absolutely melting as I heard his words.
"That's settled then, he'll come with you after the tour" Gerard said. "See ya later"
"Bye" Mikey said.

Gerard turned to look at me and chuckled seeing my dreamy smile.
"You are so cute!" Ray said, ruffling my hair.
"Mikey's so nice" I sighed. "How is that even possible?"
"He's my brother, remember?" Gerard said.
"Yeah, you're both just too nice"

3 hours later...

"Everyone have their stuff?" Ray asked.
"Yeah" Frank said. "We're all set"
"Y/N do you have everything?" Mikey asked.
"Yes dad" I said.
Mikey grinned and hugged me. "Great! Let's go to the airport"

We got to the airport, ate some chicken nuggets and then got onto the plane.
"Who am I sitting with?" I asked anxiously.
I get pretty anxious when flying.
"You're with me" Frank said. "Mikey's on the window seat"
"You seem a bit nervous" Mikey said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Will you be alright?"
I nodded.
"C'mon let's sit down"

We found our seats and sat down.
I was in the middle between Frank and Mikey, which made me feel really safe.
"Do you need anything, food or water?" Mikey asked.
"No, you can stop worrying" I mumbled, hugging his arm and resting my head against his shoulder.
"You are just adorable kid" Frank said, his phone camera clicking as he took a picture of us.
I fell asleep next to Mikey to the sound of the plane rumbling.

"Hey sleepyhead, wake up" Frank said, poking my side with his finger. "It's food time"
I opened my eyes and turned to look at him. "There you go, we got some "VIP" food" Mikey said, handing me a burger.
I devoured it in a minute and then wiped my face.

Once the plane finally landed, we got out and surprise, surprise, we bumped into some fans at the airport.
I stood behind Mikey and Frank, holding Mikey's hand.
I tried to avoid the curious eyes of the 2 strangers.

After the fans left we got an Uber to get to our next hotel.
The band had gotten the VIP room again which meant a lot of space and fancy stuff.
"So, we got 4 beds, Y/N, who do you wanna share with?" Ray asked.
I grabbed Frank's sleeve and looked up at Ray.
"Frankie" I said.
"Aww" Frank smiled, ruffling my already messy hair.

"We have dinner in 10 minutes at the restaurant downstairs" Mikey said. "We should get going"
We went down to the lobby and into a fancy restaurant around the corner.
The food was amazing and we had fun.
"Hey kid, I talked to Kristin while you were out with Ray and Gee and she wants to meet you so she's coming over to the hotel in about 30 minutes"
"Really? She wants to meet me!?" I asked.
"Yeah, she's so amazing, she'll take good care of you once we can go home!"
I smiled, I would finally have multiple people who love me for who I am.

Later...

There was a knock at the door and Mikey went to open it.
"Hi honey!" Kristin smiled, kissing her husband lovingly.
"Hi" Mikey smiled. "Come in, Y/N's just watching tv"
"Alright"
I shut off the tv and looked up.
Kristin gave me the sweetest smile ever and I smiled back.

"Mikey told me so many great things about you!" She said.
"Mikey's so sweet, I'm glad he wanted to take me with the band" I sighed. "My actual parents weren't so good to me, they kicked me out not too long ago"
"Sweetheart, we're your parents now, well, the guys and their wives too. But I promise that Mikey and I will take good care of you when you're with us, okay?"
"Thank you" I hugged her.

After a while, Kristin left and I changed into some sweat pants and a hoodie before going to Frank's bed.
"Did you have fun talking to Kristin?" Frank asked, sitting on the bed with me.
"Yeah, I can't wait to spend more time with her" I smiled. "But right now I just wanna sleep"
"C'mon then" Frank raised his arm, inviting me to curl up next to him.
"Goodnight Frank"
