Tanaka let out a roar as he hit a line shot, his eyes glaring directly into Kyoutani's, aggravating the aggressive second year ever so slightly. Kageyama bounced the ball, his blue hues staring at the other side of the court, deciding where to serve. Once he had made his mind up, he served the ball, cursing to himself as he noticed that the ball had gone completely off course and towards Iwaizumi.
Kyoutani spiked the ball, his fierce gaze meeting Tanaka's as the shaved headed male glared at him. (m/n) quickly performed a split step, getting the ball up nicely to Kageyama who tossed it over to Daichi.
"Two blockers!" Tanaka yelled.
Daichi grunted as he reached towards the ball, his fingertips hitting the ball. Oikawa quickly dove forward, squeezing his hand under the ball and letting Watari perform a Libero set towards Kyoutani once more. Kyoutani sent another glare towards Tanaka as his spike went right past Tanaka and Hinata.
Ukai quickly stood up, his hands forming a 'T'. The referee nodded and blew the whistle, signalling a timeout. Aoba Johsai cheered as Karasuno retreated to their bench, getting their much-needed refreshments.
"You guys are doing well," Ukai complimented, "that play you set up earlier, (m/n), was incredible. However, we'll need to keep up with tricks in order to catch up. Keep on focusing on number sixteen, if you can, delay their attackers as much as you can."
"Osu!"
(m/n) let out a satisfied sigh, wiping the sweat on his chin with his shirt. He snuck a quick glance over to Kyoutani and turned away.
"Number sixteen's main role on that court is to attack. We should be able to block his straights if we time our blocks together, two or three should be enough. If one blocker, aim for a one touch or have someone follow through," (m/n) started, "with his cut shots, Yuu-chin, you alright to handle that job?"
"Leave it to me!" Nishinoya grinned, joy and excitement rushing through his veins knowing that (m/n) was counting on him.
"But what about when Nishinoya isn't on the court?" Tanaka asked, putting his drink down
