IT WAS A lovely Saturday morning.

I was having the best time of my life in my humble abode while watching my beloved soap opera on TV with snacks and soda cans scattered across the coffee table. I'm now off-duty to any real-life drama scenarios for two straight days.

No student council obligations. No damn school work. No fucking troublemakers. No dickheads. No nagging school principal. No cafe errands. No scheduled commitments.

And most importantly, no Sano Freaking Manjiro.

That shorty Goldilocks and I both agreed that he will not dare to disturb my gorgeous rest during weekends.

In other words, my precious mind was at peace.

Oh, how much I love the benefits of weekends.

It was the only period that I could spend some quality time for myself after a hellish week of being a busy body. I sometimes hope that it was always like this. That I don't have to think about responsibilities and school grades. That I have more time for myself.

Too bad it was only just wishful thinking.

I walked over to the kitchen area to look for something to cook for lunch just to realize that my fridge was almost empty with only a carton of milk and three eggs left inside.

"I should probably do some grocery shopping," I mumbled and nodded my head in agreement. I hurriedly went to my room and changed my pajamas into casual clothing before leaving the house.

Only to receive a text message from my grandma.

Granny: Y/N dear, are you free today? Can I ask a favor from you? Pretty please 🙏 😘😘😚😚

I sweatdropped at the emoji she sent. What the heck?

'What kind of favor, though?' I wondered in curiosity but didn't bother to ask. I knew it was a delivery of some sort to one of her friends. I just shrugged my shoulders and started to type on the keypad.

Me: Sure.

Granny: Thank you so much, sweetie! I know I could always count on you 💖 Just visit here at the cafe shop! See you in a bit! Muwwaaahhh!!! 😍😍😍

I choked on my saliva and nearly tripped my foot. Sometimes, my grandma was so weird.

Me: Alright. Be there in a few.

I slid my phone back into my pocket and turned my heels in a different direction, heading my way towards the subway station instead. My grocery shopping will come later once I'm done doing a favor for my grandma.
