The Russians come back to the room, with the commander hovering over them, laughing to himself.

"Where were you two going?" He asks them condescendingly, nodding to the others to pick them both up, sitting right back to where they were.

"Try telling the truth this time, yes?" The commander asks Steve, grabbing his chin, making him wince at his fingertips.

They both watch as the doctor holds up a giant syringe filled with a blue substance, walking over to Steve, making them both breath heavily and panic.

"Okay! Wait, wait, wait! What is that thing?" Steve asks short of breath.

"It will help you talk." The doctor answers, and grabs Steve's neck, injecting him with the serum.

Steve letting out a loud scream, making Ronnie shut her eyes closed, opening them shortly, seeing the doctor right in front of her this time. The doctor pulls her hair to the side, tilting her head, and Ronnie's breathing fastens.

"Is that thing even clean?" She asks nervously, and the doctor chuckles, injecting the same serum into her, then leaving them alone once again.

She didn't even remember falling asleep or for how long, but she started to blink continuously to make her vision clear again.

"Honestly, I don't even feel anything." Steve mumbles, leaning his head against hers, and she can feel him wobble his head. "Do you?"

"I mean, I... I feel fine. I feel normal." Ronnie answers, leaning back on his shoulder, as their weights hold each other up.

"Yeah, I feel- I feel fine. I kinda feel good." He adds, and they both lowly belly laugh.

"Wanna know a secret?" Ronnie asks amused.

"Yeah."

"I like it, too!" She confesses, throwing her head back onto his shoulder, continuing to laugh.

"Morons, they messed up the drug." Steve slurs.

"Morons!" Ronnie mocks loudly.

"Hey, morons!" Steve plays along, laughing back and forth, and repeating themselves.

"There's definitely something wrong with us." Ronnie realizes with a smile on her face.

"Oh, definitely." Steve agrees.

"Can I ask you something?" Steve blurts out after a short moment of silence.

"Open book." Ronnie answers.

"Did you think I hated you or something before you moved away?" Steve brings up, and Ronnie pauses for a second. Truly thinking about all of the mean things Steve had to say in front of other kids, but never mentioned to anyone that when they were alone sometimes, like in the hallway or running into each other at the store, he was genuinely nice.

He would pick up her book if she accidentally dropped it, or awkwardly waved to her if he was alone, and sometimes even walked in the other direction at the park just so his friends wouldn't say anything to her.

"Honestly... A little. But, it's okay. I mean you've always been Mister Popular, and being friends with me wouldn't have helped."

"I thought the braces are cute." Steve mentions, and Ronnie smiles to herself, opening her mouth to call him out, but instead they hear the door buzz open.

Their heads turn being greeted by the same Russian men and commander, barging in. Making his way over to face both of them, while the doctor opens up his things, playing with a giant knife.

"Would now be a good time to tell you that I don't really like doctors?" Ronnie speaks up.

"Let's try this again, yes? Who do you work for?" The commander asks Steve, and he just smiles at him, licking the blood off of his lip.

"Scoops. Scoops Ahoy." Steve answers truthfully, lightly laughing, hearing Ronnie laugh behind him too.

"How did you find us?"

"Totally by accident." Ronnie answers for Steve.

The commander gives the doctor one look, and then picks up a pair of big, metal tweezers, making his way over to Steve.

"Where you going with that, doc?" Ronnie asks, leaning entirely on Steve's shoulder.

"What is that shiny little toy?" Steve asks, keeping his eyes glued to it, as the doctor lifts Steve's finger, grasping his nail with the tweezers.

"Woah, hey, hey, hey. Wait! No! Wait! Wait!" Steve pleads, shaking around, beginning to legitimately freak out.

"There was a code! We heard a code!" Ronnie admits, closing her eyes, hoping they would stop whatever they were doing to Steve.

"Code?" The commander repeats, and the room finally gets silent, as he makes his way over to Ronnie's side. "What code?"

"The week is long. The silver cat feeds when blue meets yellow in the west. Blah, blah, blah." Ronnie answers, lifting her head up.

"You broadcast that stupid spy shit all over town, and we picked it up on our Cerebro, and we cracked it in a day. A day! You think you're so smart, but a couple of kids, who scoop ice cream for a living, cracked your code in a day, and now, people know you're here." She adds in one breath, smiling smugly at him.

"Who knows we are here, suka?"

"Uh, Dustin." Steve answers for him, and Ronnie drops her smiling turning her head to Steve.

"Hey, Steve?" Ronnie pleads.

"Yeah, Dustin Henderson." Steve adds on, and Ronnie groans in defeat, leaning back against Steve, now fearing not only for her life or Steve's, but now her little cousin's.

"Dustin Henderson." The commander repeats, and Steve chuckles to himself. "It is is your small, curly-haired friend?" He asks, making his way over to Steve.

"Oh, curly-haired. Great hair. Small. Kind of like a 'fro." Steve comments.

"Where is he?"

"He's long gone, you big asshole." Ronnie jumps in.

"And he's probably calling Hopper, and Hopper's calling the US calvary. They're gonna come in here, commando style, guns a-blazin', and kick your sorry asses back to Russia. You're gonna be two pieces of toast." Steve informs him, with a smile plastered on his bloody face.

His contagious laugh makes Ronnie burst out laughing, leaning against Steve, cheeks sore from smiling so hard.

"Is that so?" The commander asks, bending down to Steve.

Steve doesn't hesitate to raise his brows at him, "Yeah." He answers confidently, both of them laughing again.

Suddenly, an alarm begins to blare throughout the building, making everyone stop laughing and talking to look over at the door. The commander faces Steve quickly, and he gives him the most cocky smile, licking the blood off of his lip.

The commies leave to see what was going on, while the doctor was the only one watching over them. They all hear a scream come from another door, seeing Dustin rush in with some long taser stick, aiming it right at the doctor, making him unconscious and slightly burnt.

It felt like no one was breathing, as they looked down at the doctor sprawled out on the floor, then slowly look up at Dustin, who was just as shocked as they were at what just happened.

"Hey! Henderson! That's crazy, I was jut talking about you." Steve greets his friend, but they disregard him, moving straight to their restraints to try to get them out.

"He really was." Ronnie backs Steve up, turning to Dustin as Robin cuts the ties off of her ankles.

"Get ready to run."
