As soon as Ronnie's parents heard about what happened in Hawkins, they came rushing back to see her. Keeping her prisoner at the house, having family dinners together with Claudia and Dustin, and if they did leave the house Ronnie would have to go with her parents. Not letting her out of their sight for almost a week straight now. Ronnie was relieved when her parents decided to leave, but of course it had strings attached.

"Honey, it's only for like 2 weeks top." Anna, her mother, mentioned.

Ronnie rolls her eyes, throwing her head back onto the chair, when her father steps up, seeing him in an upside down view.

"Dad, I told you guys I was fine." She informs her dad, and he smiles softly, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"I know, but think of it as family time." Patrick offers.

"Can I at least go hang out with my friends now?" Ronnie pleads, slouching in her chair.

Her parents look at each other, then back at her, then Dustin who smiles cheekily at the table.

"Anna, they're good kids." Claudia jumped in, her sister sighing at her and nodding.

"Yes, come give us a hug good bye first." Her mother answered.

They all got up from their seats, heading towards the front door to walk out Ronnie's parents. Dustin and Patrick lugging out their things, as Ronnie hugged her mother. Loading the car, saying their see you soon, and good byes.

"Bye Uncle Patrick! Bye Aunt Anna!" Dustin shouts after them, watching as they pull out of the driveway, waving as they drive down the street.

As soon as they leave, another car pulls up. Ronnie furrows her brows, unable to recognize the car, but soon realizes it was Steve and Robin.

"Look who is finally out of parent jail." Robin teases her.

"I'm a free woman." Ronnie jokes back, putting her arm around Robin's waist, as Robin's wraps the top of her shoulder.

Both girls watching Dustin greet Steve with their nerdy handshake, making them cringe and get a sense of deja vu at the same time. When Steve's eyes meet Ronnie's, it was like she started sweating profusely from nerves for some reason.

"Ronnie, hey." Steve greets, rubbing the back of his head.

"Hey." She replies, smiling back at him, then noticing Dustin and Robin's uncomfortable facial expressions at the awkward tension.

"This is awkward." Dustin comments, and Steve jerks his head towards him, raising his brows at him.

"Yeah, why is this awkward. Is it because you guys kissed?" Robin adds.

Ronnie's eyes widen, looking at Robin, who just furrows her brows at her back.

"You two kissed?" Dustin repeats loudly, then Robin realizes why Ronnie was giving her a look.
