Shoto is a villain, and y/c is a hero. It was never really explained why Shoto is so tall, but his body is proportional. He is known to use only his physical strength unless it's against opponents that he knows are powerful.
One day, y/c goes to a bar and gets a bit tipsy. Shoto walks in to the bar, the people there being indifferent to hero and villain for the most part. He sits down a few seats away from y/c and he orders the heaviest drink there. He drinks it rather quickly and orders another one, putting the money for the first drink on the counter.
