Chapter 19

I woke in the middle of the night unable to sleep. I drank milk and did everything I can think of but I still cant sleep. I haven't talked to hee since I don't know, I don't know why we haven't been tlking. I also haven't talked to anyone aside from Jaemin that I only talk during morning.

Are they avoiding? But why? I didn't do anything.

I took my phone and dialed Jaemin's number. Its 2am and I think he wont answer but I was wrong he did answer

Jaemin: Hae- uh hey? What's wrong? Did something happened?

He asked I heard lots of shiffling noses from the other line.

Hae: I can't sleep
Jaemin: you can't what?
Hae: Can't sleep

I pouted and stared at my feet, I ate strawberries and Everything I want to eat but I still cant sleep.

Jaemin: have you drink uh milk?
Hae: I did, but I still cant sleep
Jaemin: what do you want me to uh do? Uh do you want s-strawberries?
Hae: no, but watermelon. I want a watermelon
Jaemin: a watermelon?

I hummed, I really cant sleep and all I could think of is watermelon. Watermelon. Big juicy watery watermelon.

I heard shuffling sounds until I heard keyboard clicking sound from the other line

Jaemmin: do you really need it now?
Hae: i-if you can't find any then i-its okay

I said its okay but I can feel my eyes water. I really have no damn idea why I am craving for watermelon at 2 in the morning and I also don't know why I am calling Jaemin when I can go buy myself a watermelon

Jaemin: but you want it? Right now?
Hae: y-yes, but you can say no I won-
Jaemin: Hyuck, is Mark hyung in rin noona's place?

Hyuck? He is with Haechan? And why is he awake? Him and Haechan?

Jisung: what do you need from him?
Jeno: its 2am, he's probably sleeping
Jaemin: can you call him?
Renjun: why what's the matter? Who are you talking to?
Jaemin: just call him

I heard the his friends voice, I felt anxious when I heard Renjun and Jeno's voice.

But why are they all awake???? I mean I am awake so I dont really have anything to say.

Haechan: he answered, here talk to him
Jaemin: hyung, I know its late. Im sorry, but do you have watermelon on you place? What am I going to do with them? I-I uh I will uh-
Hae: eat them

I answered, He was struggling so Might as well help him out, well if he could hear me then I am a great help

Jaemin: eat them!

So he can still hear me, perhaps he still has his phone by his ear while talking to the other phone? Doesn't that give you head aches?

Jaemin: Im craving for watermelon, so do you have some? I know! I will pay for it hmm okay marker ill go get them, thanks. Hyuck, thanks
Haechan: why do you need watermelon?
Jaemin: you don't need to know

I chuckled and sighed, Truth, he doesn't need to know. Why? Because he is Lee Donghyuck that has a loud mouth.

Hae: thanks, you didn't have to
Jaemin: no problem, ill bring it to you in a few-
Chenle: where are you going?!
Jaemin: at mark hyung's place
Chenle: ill come-
Jaemin: No. Renjun I'll borrow you car!

I heard him yell, I chuckled when His voice broke at the end and I heard his low chuckles too

Jaemin: stop laughing at me, I'm doing everything I can to give you your precious watermelon, sunshine

I stopped lauhing and paused to digest what he just called me

Sunshine.

Its been three weeks since we have been talking to each other and I am surprise to hear him calling me nicknames

Renjun: what are you going to do with my car?
Jaemin: drive it of course

I chuckled, I can imagine renjun rolling his eyes at Jaemin right now.

Renjun: no
Chenle: why do you even need a car when you're just going to Mark hyung's place which is a house apart from us
Hae: it makes sense, Na

I butted in still Laughing at the weird noise from the other line. I can hear Haechan yelling about Jeno loosing and killing him and I can hear Jeno threatening Haechan and then Renjun  scolding Chenle that he is so load and Jisung who is uh i guess stressing out just like Renjun

Jaemin: shut up, sunshine

I playfully rolled my eyes and Just shut up, just like what he just said.

Chenle: DID YOU JUST CALL ME SHUT UP?! AND TOLD ME SUNSHINE?!

I burst into laughter hearing Chenle yelling. That's the other way around! And They are hilarious! Seriously? Are they always like this at 2am? Damn! Bless the neighbors!!

Jaemin: yea, now shut up
Renjun: just use jeno's bike or walk

Bike? He is going to bike all the way here? Just for a damn watermelon? Isn't it a hassle plus Im disturbing their uh chaotic fun night.

Hae: how about I will just have my watermelon later? Right? that's a good idea!
Jaemin: no, its alright, sunshine.
Hae: stop with the sunshine
Jaemin: whatever sunshine, ill be there in a few minute
Hae: you sure?
Jaemin: I am, JENO ILL BORROW YOUR BIKE ILL BE BACK IN AN HOUR AND RENJUN I HOPE YOU'LL GET A FLAT TIRE ON YOUR DATE TOMORROW!

I burst into laughter. I heard Jaemin 's laugh from the other side of the and that made me smile

Hae: i should hang up now-
Jaemin: no, dont. Let me talk to you, i might get bored biking in this dark street while carrying a damn watermelon

I giggled and he giggled as well. I didn't hang up and just listen to him grunting.

Jaemin: hyung hyung hyung!
??: here's the watermelon, why do you even need a damn watermelon?
Hae: who's that?

I question, He sounds familiar. I cant remember who he was. But i think I heard that voice a lot in the cafeteria. But I really cant remember who!

Jaemin: it's Mark, Im going to throw it at Renjun. Now go back inside.

Oh, Mark sunbae? That handsome sunbae that Haechan talks about? Like the one who smells and fart a lot according to the rumor Haechan spread? Oh okay.

Mark: okay okay! But what's with the bike? Jeno's place is literally a house apart dude!!
Jaemin: I'm lazy now go before- wait is that The New girl?? Shit why is she there? Wait!! Huh? Fuck nevermind, ill get going! Thanks for the watermelon, dont worry ill give you a kiss tomorrow
Mark: just so you know i dont want that kiss

I laughed when made those weird kissing noises from the other line.

Jaemin: where do you live again, sunshine?
Hae: Horizon st. House 520
Jaemin: wait that's like four blocks away from here, and a block away from my place
Hae: uh that's nice i guess

He chuckled until there was a faint yell from the other line that made Jamein laugh with Matching heavy breaths

Hae: who was that?
Jaemjn: Mark hyung, he yelled at me
Hae: what did he yell?
Jaemin: 'Na Jaemin Jeno's place is not that way, where the hell are you going you with my huge watermelon you better take care of my damn watermelon you idiot' that's what he yelled

I laughed nonstop at the image of mark sunbae in my head yelling at jaemin who' stepping at the pedal with a watermelon in his other hand.

That shit is hilarious!!!
