As I woke up, I slowly looked up and realized that Wesley was no longer there. I got out of bed and normally continued my getting ready routine. As it was saturday I just wore some sweatpants and a t-shirt. As I opened the door, I found a trail of roses. Oh no. I followed the petals, which lead me to the kitchen, where I found Wes (may I mention wearing only his boxers) and the most perfect and romantic atmosphere and breakfast. Everything was filled with roses, candles and smelling amazing. There were pancakes on 2 plates on the counter and he was sitting there. I have to admit a tear escaped my eye. I ran over to Wes and kissed him as passionately as I could. This was just perfect, for a moment I forgot all the problems and everything. All that existed was he and I. Because it is all that matters.

I stood closely to him and stared his pretty eyes. He led me to the chair and made me sit there. He backed to the back of the kitchen and came back with a rose and a box.

"Last night I realized I never properly asked you this. I love you and this really has to be done! I can't imagine a life without you in it, and you definitely changed mine. Nothing will ever be the same. Because I have you and I hope I will always have. Despite all the problems we have, we will get through them, and it starts here. Will you be my girlfriend? "

Out of the sudden, we heard the entrance door open and we both stared it. My mom and his father appeared out of it and both their chins dropped.
