"So," the Professor looks to Bennet, "what's the human emotion you dislike the most in people?" I look to him, curious of his response.

"Most likely jealousy, it's an ugly thing to see in people." He looks to me a little upset.

I wake up, with widening eyes. It was just a dream. I look to Bennet, who is beside me in the bed, he's sleeping peacefully. He probably doesn't remember that argument from so long ago, does he? I snuggle into his side, making him stir. Looking to his face I find him groggily looking down at me. He puts a kiss to my forehead and wraps me into his arms.

"Hey I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick ok?" He nods, slurping his Icee. I hurry off. I fix my hair in the mirror after washing my hands before finding him right where I left him. Except someone is getting awfully close to him. I can see his hand scratching his head, his higher pitched voice trying to let down the person. As I stand behind him I glare at the person, who quickly gets uncomfortable by my presence.

"Right, sorry!" They scurry off and I huff. He turns around, so I quickly smile at him.

"Ah you're here..!" I just smile a little wider. "Right, nothing to worry about. I'm all yours.." He just laughs nervously, holding my hand.

Having made a snack for myself I watch as Bennett comes out in a new beige sweater, some nice charcoal pants on. I look at him a little surprised, almost choking on my drink. "Is today something special..?" I ask with my mouth full. He gives me a soft laugh, putting a hand in one of his pockets.

"No, I was just about to go out with Ajax and some of his friends." I swallow my drink, nodding.

"Are you sure you want to-" I stop before I can finish giving him a sheepish look and close my mouth to think of a better way of wording it. "I mean it's just I know Ajax can get pretty rowdy and.." I shake my head. "You know what, forget it. If you want to go out, go ahead alright? Your hair looks very nice.." I kiss his cheek, noticing he's wearing his nice cologne.

"Ah, alright.." He looks away, seemingly guilty of something.

"Well where are you going? You look.." I take another good look at him, if I didn't know any better I'd say he was going out on a date. "Very handsome."

"Ajax wanted to have dinner with him a few other of his friends." I nod, holding one his hands with a loose grip.

"Who exactly?" He thinks for a moment, suddenly looking a bit more uncomfortable.

"I think Barbara, Ganyu, Keqing, and I believe Zhongli.." Barbara? It's been years, so she wouldn't try anything now. Yet the thought of her seeing him all dressed up makes me feel more than a little jealous. Even so, I smile up at him.

"Is that so? Well have fun ok? It's been a while since you've went out with you friends."

Bennett's POV

As we leave the restaurant Ajax only bothers me further. He slings an arm around my shoulder, which only brings me closer the more I try and pull away. "What's wrong? You seemed rather quiet, you weren't trying to be friendly at all. Look, they want some drinks try warming up with them alright?" Just another futile attempt to make (Y/N) jealous. Do they really not care if someone tries to steal me away from them? I sigh, knowing Ajax isn't going to let up.
