it is 75th independence day today .. hustle and bustle was there in the academy.. everyone was involved in the finalizing the decorations.. karan was restless since morning due to 2 reasons.. firstly chief minister sir was coming along with other high profile guests in the function and karan was the incharge of the function and he wanted everything to be perfect.. secondly he hadnt seen monami since last night after their romantic moments on the terrace.. she was supposed to shift today in the army quarter.. and regarding the same karan went to her room in morning to help with her packing.. but she was no where to be found.. on searching in her room he found a note placed near the window.. keeping gappu aside which was kept on the note.. he picked up the note and reads it..

i know khadoos shergill tum pareshan ho rahe hoge ki main itni subah subah kahan chali gayi.. main bahar kisi kaam se jaa rahi hu.. tum soye hua the aur sote hue bahut cute bhi lag rahe the isleiya tumhe uthane ka mann nhi kiya.. tention mat lo main function se pehle aa jayungi.. aur haan maine packing karli hain jiske liya tum mere room main aaye ho.. after function hum shift karlenge... take care.. bye..

karan smiles after reading letter.. and takes a breathe of relief..

karan- yhh ladki bhi na.. chal beta karan rani sahiba ne kaha hain woh aa jayengi toh aa jayengi.. ab tu jake function ki arrangements dekh.. koi kami nhi rehni chahiya.. minister sir aane hi wale honge..

saying so he keeps the letter back at its place.. and then while keeping gappu back.. he notices something..

karan- yhh rani sahiba bhi na.. itni bhi kya jaldi thi.. (now picking gappu in his hands and looking at it..) bechara mera gappu.. pani tak nhi pilaya usse.. dekho kaise murjha gaya hain.. koi nhi gappu tu tension mat le main hu na.. main pilayunga tujhe pani.. karan shergill ke hote hua koi pyaasa nhi marega.. (he says dramatically..)

he looks for the sprinkler.. and then waters gappu.. after keeping it back on window side.. he sits on his knees and talks to gappu..

karan-  waise gappu.. tujhe pata hain kya rani sahiba kahan gayi hain.. tujhe toh unhone pakka bataya hoga.. (he looks at gappu for his answers.. but then realizes something.. ) hey bhagwan.. karan tujhe kya ho raha hain.. tu bhi na.. gappu kaise bol sakta hain.. iss ladki ke saath rehte rehte na tu pakka pagal ho jayega..

saying so he runs out of the room.. and marches towards the hanger area where he bumps with someone...

sid- aree karan sir.. kya hogaya.. itni jaldi main kahan jaa rahe ho..

karan- woh.. woh..

sid- monami ka asar dikh raha hain aap par..

karan looks at him and realizes something- ek sec.. tumhe kaise pata..

sid- pehle mujhse takra gaye.. phir fumble karne lage.. aisa toh sirf monu karti hain.. girti padti jo rehti hain.. aur ab aap bhi..

saying so he gives a teasing look to him.. but gets a karan shergill special glare.. and he gulps in fear..

sid- waise karan bro.. monu dikh nhi rahi.. hain kahan woh..

karan- woh kisi kaam se bahar gayi hain.. function se pehle aa jayegi.. tu yhh bta arrangements wagera toh theek hain na..

sid- haan sir sabkuch perfect hain.. faizi sir aur maine khud sab check kiya hain..

karan- aur guest ka kya..

sid- woh..

sid starts to speak but is interrupted by someone from behind..

someone- meri abhi minister sir ke bodyguards se baat hui hain.. woh aadhe ghante tak pahunch jayenge.. aur baaki ke guests bhi..
