Chapter 22 - Clove POV

I stand there blushing at Cato. He winks at Tris. Was this like a set up or something? Cato likes Tris😔. Am I being played by Tris and Cato?! I only said that I liked Gale to make Cato jealous because he had a crush on Tris. I thought Tris was my friend, why would she embarrass me in front of everyone. I grab up my spots bag and hurry into the girls change room leaving behind a confused Tris. Why would Tris say that Cato liked me?
Errrr! I'm so mad at her!
"Who?" someone says behind me.
I turn around and see Katniss, opps I said that out loud.
"Oh..er," I decide to tell Katniss, she always cheers me up, "I'm just mad at Tris, she played me in front of everyone,"
I feel my eyes turn glassy. Katniss thinks for a while before saying,
"Why would Tris do that, she hates Cato?" Katniss says frowning.
I'm about to answer when my phone lights up and buzzes. On the home screen it reads:
T͓̽e͓̽x͓̽t͓̽ f͓̽r͓̽o͓̽m͓̽ T͓̽R͓̽I͓̽S͓̽🍉
I shut my phone and turn back to Katniss.
"Now she trying to text, I don't wa-" but my sentence is cut short by my phone buzzing again. It's Tris.
I unlock my phone and looked at the text:

Tris🍉 - Clove! Where did ya go?!
Tris🍉 - Cato likes u Clove! I wasn't trying to embarrass u😘
Clove🍍 - No he doesn't Tris!! I can't believe u did that to me!
Tris🍉 - I promise he likes u! I'd never do that to ya!
Clove🍍 - I thought u were my friend

I slam down my phone and look at Katniss my eyes are full of angry tears. I hear someone come in. I look around, it's Cato. He's technically not allowed in here. He's probably looking for Tris. He walks up to me.
"Clove, I wouldn't anything to hurt. I wouldn't do anything to embarrass you. Please believe me, I like you,"
Tris takes this prank to far or is even a prank. One way to find. I lean in and kiss Cato he kisses me back.
So yeah, I should probably apologise to Tris....
