45 years later
Luke lay in his hospital bed breathing slowly, grasping my hand tightly until it was numb. By then we were both 90 so we had already retired.
Luke looked at me and said
"Never forget me I have loved you forever" just then a thousand years played on the radio. The Twilight version. That was my favourite moved back in the day.
Luke took one last breath and I heard a loud beep. I disallowed nurses to enter the room as I plugged off the life support. I couldn't let him live anymore he was in too much pain.
2 weeks later
I was lay in my hospital bed with my kids and grand kids surrounding me. "kids and babies please love me forever" I took one last breath and everything was black all I saw was a curtain of black.

I looked around I felt younger. Then suddenly I saw a 17 year old Luke running towards me and twirling me around pecking my cheek softly " I told you, I'd see you soon" he whispered.
