I don't care about those books anymore since I finished reading them all and I've summarised all of them

She made a surprised expression like she saw someone foreign

Losing her... I don't want to experience it

She scratches her head and sighs as she looked at me

"Did she fight someone?"

"no she is with me that whole time and she disliked fighting"

"What?! An Oni that doesn't fight?!"

"thats kind of odd..."

Well... Ibaraki is a kind one after all

"Since she has been cursed but since it's not from a spell it could only mean one thing..."

"someone specifically curses her with dark sorcery"

I've read a few of them but one thing is for sure those rituals are quite a hassle to do someone must have hated her so much but...

Since I'm completely immune to flames I guess there's no harm in touching the fire in the center

With no one here going to stop me I immediately dive towards the center but I just casually phased to the other side

*thunk*

And hit my head on the chain

And I fell down

It's just a flame that has chains... There's nothing else

I'm watching Ibaraki stays unconscious on the sofa while I hold her hand... Because Patchy still can't find the tool that could help me

"I can't forgive the person that does this to you..."

I don't know if I should be thankful that the perpetrator didn't outright kill Ibaraki... Or be angry at the perpetrator for doing this in the first place

"urgh...!"

"It's okay Ibaraki I'm here!"

Seeing her grunt seemingly in pain makes my worries worsen and I tried to reassure her

"everything is going to be fine Ibaraki..."

I coax her hoping it will yield something

Until I felt relief seeing her face become a smiling one
