Lucien is once again wandering around the halls of NRC. His last class already finished and some of his assigned works done. The sun is setting and most students are minding their own businesses. Well, except for someone?

Lucien felt a force that made him turn around. "Hey you. Name and year?"

"L-l-Shaein Valentin! Freshman!" He stuttered from shock. Lucien did hear footsteps from behind but he decided to ignore it. Now he's completely flabbergasted when his cloak is suddenly removed revealing his attire underneath. His white dress shirt under a knitted vest. The invasion of privacy haven't ended yet, the other person combed Lucien's fringe behind his ears.

"Ugh, which dorm are you from?" the other person rested his head on his palms.

"Pomefiore." Lucien showed his magical pen as proof. But it seems like the other person ignored it as he is observing his face. He nodded in understanding, "Understandable, have a nice day."

Whoa, wait! Was Lucien is judged based on stereotypes? His face is acceptable to be in Pomefiore? What the truck?

"I'm sorry about that. I thought you are from Heartslabyul. I am their head warden, call me Red-senpai." Red pushed up his glasses like an ikemen character. Just to be fair, Lucien would put him on a stereotype too, the ikemen guy. The one who follows rules, the one who can't do nothing. And also the type who wears glasses, fringes behind their ears. Sakamoto desu ga? Whew. But Red-senpai looks a tad bit stressed?

"It's okay, Red-senpai. Uhm, you look like you need rest..." Lucien quickly shut his mouth while hastily putting his fringes back in place. Red sighed, "I knew I'm not fit for this role."

"Uhm, yeah?" Lucien started fiddling the ends of his fringes when he suddenly thought that sounded a bit harsh, "No, no, no! I meant, what do you m-mean about that, senpai!"

Red adjusted his glasses. "Heartslabyul students follow our own house rules. Breaking rules deserves punishment. Then again, I'm a one-man person. I can't be present on different places at the same time. I also have to keep up on my studies and be a proper role model student."

That sounds tough. Lucien winced while he caress his nape. "Do you have a list of your house rules?"

Red didn't choose to question the other's intentions and gave him a small hand book. A small handbook.

Hand book.

'How many rules do they have?!' Lucien screamed mentally. He open the hand book and he was greeted by neatly hand written letters. "You wrote it all here, senpai?"

"Yes, I made copies for all those who reside in Heartslabyul." Red hummed in satisfaction.

Lucien wanted to get far away the moment he heard those words. "W-well, can I borrow this? I promise I'll give it back! And, oh, yeah uhm... can I have my cloak back?" "Here." "Thank you."

"I'll see you... later?" Lucien hesitantly stated which came out like a question. "Of course. Also, you can keep that, I have a spare."

Lucien watched his senpai walk away from him. He composed his self and went to the cafeteria. Lucien is planning to skim the Heartslabyul house rules whilst waiting for Cater.

Only minutes passed when Lucien concluded that the rules are ridiculous. A quarter of it seems to be more like a schedule than do's and don'ts. Still, Lucien couldn't forget the image of his senpai, all tired and stressed. He's also self-conceited, he thinks he doesn't deserve or fit in the role of a house warden.
